The only miracle is when Phil found his perfect group of victims. Otherwise, his ploys are laughable, at best, and no one outside the spectrum will get fooled by them.

I don't get paying hundreds of dollars for a simple ego boost. They could have just paid someone to get their dick wet instead and actually get pleasure, not just meaningless chat messages that get buried in a couple of seconds and forgotten immediately.

His donators and fans cheering and tossing bit at him are already brain-washed by PhilSpeech. He demonized and denounced critics and detractors alike that people belief when he says there are people out there who focus on destroying his life, no matter if you try to give a good advice, criticize him for something or go full a-log, you are all the same for him.

And over the years Phil has gathered a fanbase full of exceptional beings, now they have easy means to one up themselves because it takes no effort to hand your wallet to DSP. Back then people had to white-knight him to death or carry out his commands, or even become a-logs themselves (KGhaleon), now on Twitch they can directly get noticed by Sempai Phil

In my opinion, the "good cause" Phil mentioned when you give him money is fighting those detractors and haters, trolls etc., making you the good guy. And for a viewerbase that has been tricked so many times (like Project 7) and still throws cash at him, that's enough to provide him with dollars, even when he treats them like shit on any other term.

Of course, the good cause does not include Phil's other scams. By now people should know that he is a liar and that he has tried scams before (AdSense, switching his Patreon goals on the fly, Project 7, those guilt-trips and pity partys), but apparently they don't. Then again, look at BSV and tell me he is capable of logic thoughts.

The reality is that it is not as novel as it once was and during its heyday, Phil chose to live it up by buying stupid shit and not thinking ahead.

Probably a big flaw was also thinking that taking on a large amount of debt was sustainable and a "good way" to expand his earnings.

If you look at his current setup, he has shitty headphones, a shitty TV and a shitty PC. Everything he spent money on (like the BMW) ended up getting him nothing at all in return, and his inflexibility with his living arrangements have made his existence expensive.

I think he's still in that line of thinking because he thinks the games he buys are "must haves" when in reality they probably aren't helping him very much (he probably gets a sweet $2 tax return on each of them though). He probably also thought that things with Leanna would last forever and perhaps ironically didn't think of himself when moving half way across the country.

If Phil had actually lived within his means, resisted the temptation to buy 16 Keurigs, a BMW and two houses then he probably wouldn't be in the shit show he is right now. He's going to have a difficult few years ahead.

The harsh reality is that being a full-time "Youtuber," content creator or indeed most businesses that are sole in nature (i.e. being a plumber) requires adaptability, flexibility, foresight and excellent PR and communication skills.

Another key skill he sorely lacks is usually called something along the lines of "having to break an egg to make an omelet". He refused to use a capture card, he refused to use twitch, he refused to do x/y/z. He hasn't started using blip or any of the twitch alternatives yet. He is very reluctant to drive change in an industry where it is a requirement.

Phil doesn't have any of these. He has just been lucky.

Good God, most of his problems would go away if he just go to a real fucking job. He should have done that years, years ago. YouTube should just be a side thing. He's one of the biggest man-child I've ever seen. It's just crazy that a man at his age is so irresponsible. JUST GO FIND A JOB. Live like a normal, functioning adult.

Chrischan seems to have done more than DSP about improving his situation.
He also has a far, far more significant challenge in life because of his autism. So he at least has a proper 'excuse' even if people hate him for it.

I haven't seen DSP try to sell his ride-on lawnmower yet.

Please hear me out. Before I get into the topic, let me give you a bit of background about myself. I'm 27 years old and been enjoying your content for a couple of years, but recently a family emergency happened and pretty much took all my attention off of your content and the internet in general. Now things are a lot better 6 months later, I'm returning to your content and see nothing has changed other than an increase demand of donation, bits, tips, or whatever financial venue you need your fans to attend just so you can keep doing this job for a living. Trust me, we know you got bills, we all have them, but Jesus Christ Phil could you please stop telling us about your money problems! Not only do we know about everything that's going on in your life financially, but we are tired of hearing it and frankly its not cool to put your burdens and responsibilities on us every time viewership goes down or Patreon goals not met! Please!

What triggered me to typing this is just your tone on the Houston Floods and how you were coming up with every excuse you could that didn't place blame on you or your content. Something along the lines of "People probably didn't donate to me because they chose to donate to Houston... That's Good! I can't be mad at that....." No, you can't be mad at that whatsoever! People are homeless and lost everything out there, I'm going to chose to donate to people in a real distress everytime. You also made some reference about your YouTube career was similar to what the people in Houston are dealing with, the whole thing was distasteful.

I mean DSP, you've been talking about your money problems for a long time now, but now it seems like every prestream or post stream or vlog you got to throw in some of your money woes to try to drive up some cash from your fans. It may bring in an extra $50 to $100 dollars here and there but does it ultimately solve your problem wringing out all the extra funds from you can from your fans in your time of "distress"? No.

I think you should really sit down and figure out what YOU, not what your fans need to raise for Patreon or on Twitch, what YOU need to do to get YOURSELF out of debt. I don't know what that entails, but you're an adult and its your life you should have control of, not in the hands of a few fans that have been guilt tripped and burdened with your problems for years now.

In conclusion, bring the fun back to your videos and channel, because right now I feel like if I don't contribute real $$$ then I am not a fan of yours in your mind at this point.

I was watching the clip the other day. My favourite part is where he can't even get it right. He says - in character as a nazi killing a jew - "Give me all of your money!" then pauses for a second as he realizes he muddled up which one is supposed to be greedy, then improvises a fix: "... You've hoarded it for far too long!"

And great timing - The Offspring's 'Why Don't You get A Job?' comes up on my playlist...

The fat fuck has has filed 5 rambling hand-written federal lawsuits against the goons for copyright and harassment (4 dismissed, 1 pending) and one against YouTube/Google (dropped), his house has been foreclosed on, and he has gone bankrupt despite his infamous quote that he makes a "six-income-figure"(most of the bankruptcy documents are public much to G.A.Y.'s consternation). He hasn't done his show since last year, but he occasionally posts ranting video from his food, sweat and body-oil stained couch. He is now engaged in a small war with an austic lolcaw on YouTube called Piss4400 who gets about 20 views per video but is somehow important to G.A.Y.

Not trying to be off topic, but this guy is a great person to compare with DSP. He's someone you can look at 20 years ago, 10 years ago and no and say "hey, DSP could end up like this guy"

He also thinks he's Italian. We could totally get a gofundme together for these two broke losers so they can have a cook off and see who's "authentic" italian sauce is the best.

We'd have to factor in ambulatory costs though for the inevitable food poisoning that comes from two fat, sweaty, wannabe italian pigs trying to prepare their slop.

So DSP decided to go ahead and get Netflix anyway even with his Patreon crashing like the Hindenbug.
There is no longer any doubt in my mind that this guy will be that one bum in the homeless shelter who fancies himself as a deposed king.

A great example on why the TKHO forums are the most toxic forum about video gaming and twitch streaming:

- OP makes a solid point, at least he does it in a way that is not right out insulting. It however contains critic about Phil and therefore the thread is already doomed.
- One TKOH regular, Meteo in this case, instantly comes up with a bullshit defense because other Twitch streamers beg as well. That doesn't make Phil a better person if he does it during Twitch streams. The argument is instantly used to derail the thread.
- Another user shows up and derails the thread further. Notice this derailing will be used against the OP no matter how solid his argument is. If you criticize Phil in any shape, the TKOH attack force (Sammy Samosa, hardcoreparkour and some others) will derail the thread on purpose, knowing they will get away.
- Finally, a third user appears and calls the OP by a different name, implying that OP is a sock account. This also happens a lot and almost every new user is suspicious being a sock another of one of the many banned users. Getting banned on TKOH is no hard achievement, honestly.

The only thing that this thread is missing is it getting closed without explanation by a mod and then re-opened by Phil who writes a text wall explaining why the OP is an idiot and why everybody disagreeing with him is a moron before closing the thread again. It is too easy for him to ensure having the last word rather than leaving the thread open. It's also possible that mods will delete the thread and ban the user before Phil shows up.

That's TKOH forum in a nutshell. Hundreds of users have been banned no matter what intentions they had and the Patreon donators stay in the forum and can get away without any punishment.
