Shelf it? Please...this is DSP. He'll have it traded in for money by the end of the week.

That would require leaving his house, aka "Shit that will never happen"

Plus I'm pretty sure he's getting it gifted to him digitally, so he can't trade it I think. Though he'll probably ask the guy who donated it to him for the money it cost to buy it in the first place.

It's a gifted steam key, can you refund those? I'm quite sure you can't.

DSP would not play Destiny 2 on PC as he "can't stream, play and record" at the same time on his PC. But to answer your question, no, you cannot refund steam keys. However, he always asks his donations for games ALWAYS be digital keys so he can play it on the day of release.

It couldn't be a PC copy, since those are only through Blizzard's service and you're unable to gift games unless you log in on the recipient's account and buy the game with your own card. DSP is obviously far too paranoid to allow himself to do that ("Detractors will stalk me via my battlenet account, dood."), so it's very likely a digital copy for either Xbone or PS4. He won't be able to trade it in for obvious reasons, so it'll wind up being a colossal waste of money for the person buying it.

Phil's got a real problem in maintaining an audience; it's why he has to switch games so often. There are content creators out there who are able to play certain games for years while keeping an audience interested enough to maintain a living fairly well. Phil's gameplay becomes stale and unpleasant to watch for his die-hards so quickly that he can't spend very long on any one game. He's confirmed it several times before whenever he rants about his later parts in a game playthrough getting low view counts, and he's dropped countless games because of it. I'm anticipating he'll complete the campaign in Destiny 2, but that's going to be about it. He may try strikes enough to get gameplay of each of them at launch, and may get his ass handed to him in PvP for a few games before ragequitting that. There's an infinitely small chance that he'll even be playing by the time the base game's raid is released, and there's zero percent chance that he'll actually play and finish it with anyone. Part of that is due to a crippling lack of skill in nearly every game he's ever touched, but it's also because of this inability to keep an audience interested in his playthroughs. Meanwhile, there will be people who turn Destiny 2 (or any other game of this mold where expansion content is continuously added over the period of a few years) into a steady source of income for the next few years; and it'll be due to the fact that they are actually likable people.

I missed the perfect screenshot, but there was a moment when he looked at screen with both of these as the only games and the look on his face was nothing short of priceless:

and the game took forever to load and just hung on that screen for a minute :story:

tried to play it off and looked at his phone but you could tell he was triggered internally

No problem man. I already reported a w.een (I can't remember exactly how many pages ago, need to check) for "trolling" Phil by donating money to him. IDK if their posts were taken out or not.

this post. user @BlockedByDaylight had the brilliant idea of giving DSP money to "troll" him
I didn't give him money to troll him. Stop trying to throw me under the bus. I gave Phil bits and asked a legit question (because he only reads questions with bits and cheers attached) and Phil banned me for it. Don't lump me in with the people who are actually trying to send Phil things to his house and create chaos.

Edit: I had to reply to that because I like this thread and do not wish to get banned from it for something I didn't do. Carry on!

you still gave money to Phil, lol. Why the fuck would you give him money? even if it was for a legit question, it's still an extremely exceptional thing to do.
