Why does Tumblr have an obsession with vitiligo?

  • Suicide Girl model and America's Next Top Model contestant have it, spread on Tumblr, that's why.

You could tell the new show was going to be trash before it even aired. The crew dropped Ms. Bellum because they thought she was problematic, which means they didn't at all understand the character. They also did this

Imagine being triggered by two oranges under a shirt.

Breast cancer is no laughing matter.

The show takes place in Tokyo. You're about as likely to see a black person in Tokyo as you are a moose in Manhattan.

Also, Midoriya is only 5'5", Todoroki is 5'9", and Iida is 6'1". Why the fuck is Midoriya drawn like a fucking giant and Todoroki drawn like a ten-year-old child? He doesn't turn into a fucking muscle beast like All Might when he powers up, he gets that glowing pink lightning on his body because OFA manifests differently for everyone who has it.

Did this artist even watch the show?

this is the same artist this person was also the one that drew those mlp drawings that were posted here a while ago but this is so bad look at kirishimas face gd

A summary of those images.

They took a show were like 85% of the characters are cute and managed to make everyone look like fucking ogres. What the fuck did Kohei Horikoshi do to you to make you destroy his character designs like this?

Kirishima especially, good lord. Does OP seriously think that the anthropomorphized turd they drew with red hair does this justice?

Then why bother? At least have something new to say.

Granted, I haven't read every page of this thread, but there are some differences between early pages and current pages.

Early pages were more focused on entire concepts that made Tumblr art bad rather than critiquing single artists and pieces like people here do now. For instance, the first major ongoing discussion in the thread was about Tumblrites "improving" costume designs they disliked. There have also been several-page discussions about certain fetishes and fads in Tumblr art, like the infamous "Tumblr nose".

I assume things shifted more to critiquing individual pieces because a lot of the major overarching themes and common fads in Tumblr art had been discussed at length already. When a new recurring theme or fad pops up (like Rory's unnervingly popular take on proportions), that becomes the topic of discussion instead of random art or small-time lolcows.

Not to mention the fact that there was a page-long discussion about how social justice views Barbie not long ago. We do talk about other things; if you're new to this thread, you don't really have business passing judgement on how "diverse" the discussion topics are.
