The argument here seems to be "There has never been legal precedent setting lets plays as fair use" so if PDP wants he could probably set one.

The dev openly calls pdp racist and despicable garbage for something that doesn't concern his game or the LetsPlay video at all, he is not doing it for good PR or to hurt PDP, he is doing it out of petty spite.

The thing that gets me is that it's all a two-edged sword for Youtubers.
I mean a whole bunch just recently had to deal with the whole Alex Mauer case, but they will now again screw legal protection against DMCA's because Pewdiepie said a bad word.
I mean nobody's going to honestly stop and think "hey do I really *want* to encourage this use of bullshit take down claims, knowing it's obviously not that many steps from "wow you said a bad thing" to "wow you said mean things about my video game bye"
I imagine a bunch are hoping if they virtue signal hard enough about Pewds then Youtube might give them some of that ad revenue back. Not realizing that the boat has long sailed on that case. That only comes back once they go somewhere else.
