Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

I would tell myself the kicks they got out of picking on me would be as good as life gets for them and that years on they would be standing behind a cash register asking me if I want fries with that burger.
That's a good way to look at it if you're in that kind of situation.

That's the thread I was thinking of. I'm guessing it really is true - Chris doesn't like his notion of the trolls being miserable people challenged.

What exactly is the status between Rocky and the Chandlers? Does she still care about them/ want to help them, or is just gradually/politely phasing them both out of her life and glad to do so? It makes me wonder why she even saw them in the first place, given how little good she has actually done. Didn't Chris once tell her he fantasised about raping her?!?

I wouldn't say that he "fantasised" about it. IIRC, he made that suggestion while spying on a troll chatroom, probably in some kind of an attempt to blend in. Why he went on and told Rocky about it is beyond me.

Because he's a tard. And their relationship is "Chris needs help with something, calls Rocky and she helps." Fairly one-sided but that's how it goes. No he doesn't go to church and she rarely, if ever, contacts Barb.

If @Marvin or @Alec Benson Leary want to correct me they are more than welcome to.

What I see with Chris though is that he expects the trolls to be worse off than he is, but he doesn't try to better his own life so he can say stuff like that in a more "look who's laughing now" kind of way. Let's say in another universe, Chris was a kid who worked hard in school but took lumps from the resident schoolyard bully. Chris may have gotten mad and tard raged, but along the way, he would've learned things that could've helped him succeed and his hard work would eventually pay off while the bully is alone and miserable in a cell after doing something really stupid.

However, this isn't the direction Chris seems to be taking it. It seems to me more like "these trolls are picking on me because they are jealous of me, so therefore I must be better than them." Either Chris heard it on a TV show, or Borb told him that bullies pick on other kids because they are jealous. While it is true that some bullies do pick on kids because they have their own insecurities to deal with, I learned from experience that other kids just do it for dominance or just for the sake of being an asshole. I'm imagining that this is lost on Chris for obvious reasons, mainly his ego.

What I think Chris expected was a kind of "be nice to a nerd, you'll probably end up working for one" kind of thing where he would be rich and famous or running some nondescript big business or something, then the trolls who picked on him will come broke and unhappy with their lives, clamoring for Chris to give them a job in an attempt to get in his good graces/try to grab a piece of the pie, and Chris would have power over them. The thing is though, Chris's lack of ambition hasn't allowed him to put himself in that kind of position.

Then I think about Chris people has known or went to school with, as well as people who he considered JERKS or "trolls". Wes Iseli is(presumably) happily married and probably has at least a little bit of fun working as a magician. MLW is still the dean at PVCC. Officer Bagget has proven himself to be quite heroic on at least two occasions. Kellie Andes now works as a firefighter and is happily married with two kids. What has Chris done that makes him any better than they are? Not every jerky high school jock grows up to become the next Al Bundy, and not every nerdy kid that they torment grows up to be the next Bill Gates.

The idea of a jerk from high school ending up broke and alone can be as enticing as echo chambers like tumblr are to SJWs. You can say that someone who picks on you is going to end up getting his later on(and believe me when I say I knew a few people like that personally). But I think that when any of us have these thoughts, we all need to ask ourselves: "what worthwhile things have we done in our lives?" Mikhail Gorbachev once stated "If what you did yesterday still seems big to you, then you haven't done much today." Bottom line is that Chris doesn't realize he is in a glass house when he goes on about this kind of thing. And people who stand in glass houses don't throw stones.

Random question I just had:

Had Bluespike not trolled Chris the way he did, would he have still ended up the paranoid recluse that he is now? Or at least would it had been delayed?

Chris would have ended up exactly as he is now if he had never encountered a single troll.

The trolls did not make him retarded, autistic, and unable to relate to or understand people.

Had trolls never paid him any attention, he might still have been drawing Sonichu and gotten up to issue #20 by now, but still nobody would have read it. He still would have alienated Megan, got kicked out of the GAMe PLACe and PVCC, been the victim of the Greene County Conspiracy, gone to court over hitting Snyder with his car, vandalized an X-box sign, lost Bob to bugs, lived in a hoard, burned his house down, and been generally miserable.

It's not trolls that made him a recluse. He was going to Fridays After Five years into organized trolling and trying to pick up women and failing. His inability to make adult relationships IRL has nothing to do with BlueSpike or any other troll.

I still think there are some events that greatly affected his life.
I've mentioned how incredibly entitled he is somewhere, and I think that Sonic contest when he was 12 contributed to it. He just happened to win $1000 to spend on video games (which was even more back then than today) at young age, which reinforced his belief that he should get everything on a silver platter. So he'd end up entering more and more contests in his life, tard raging each time that he didn't win. While I can't be sure about anything, perhaps had he lost that Sonic contest, the fact that you can't always win would be beaten into him earlier.

So, there was this rumor going around a while back on the forums:
(...) and when he wore skirts out awhile back he did so sans underwear and gave "K", a 13 year old nearby neighbor, a view of the goods accidentally

I dont know if its true or not, but picture this:

-Chris in a skirt.

-Without underwear.

-Chris goes to the mall.

-Chris (of course) acts like an entitled arsehole and does something profoundly stupid.

-A manajerk gives him STRESS

Just out of curiosity:

How many of you have watched all of Chris' Youtube videos in chronological order from start to finish?
I think I am going to attempt this, pending if I can keep my sanity in the process.

I dunno I think you're over estimating the videos. They're not all holding out for a hero or CHRIS. CHANDLER. Most are just OPL going blargagagaga about some inane crap for 3-6 minutes.

When I found out he had someone interview him I was stoked, but that's when I realized unless he's being fed something ridiculous to react to he's just horribly horribly boring.

I've fallen asleep with the playlist on. It's fucking weird to wake up randomly and the first thing you see is an autistic man dry shaving and giving you rapey glares while doing so.

Does Barb ever leave the house anymore? Does she hoard? Does she even talk to her blessed little baby boy anymore?
I sort of sense she is just in a quasi vegetative state now, not even caring if Chris leaves the house on his own.
I also question how much she thinks Chris is her sweet baby boy. I think she kind of treats him like a teddy bear/ puppy when she needs someone to love her. But Im sure part of her hates Chris, and blames him for the misery of her life. Im sure there is some underhanded/ passive-aggressive emotional abuse directed at Chris, that he is just too dense to notice.

As others have noted, not all of them are comedy gold. Hell, I've watched more of them with commentary than I have raw just cause their reactions tend to be funnier than whatever Chris is sperging about.
