But Im sure part of her hates Chris, and blames him for the misery of her life. Im sure there is some underhanded/ passive-aggressive emotional abuse directed at Chris, that he is just too dense to notice.

I don't know how often Barb goes places. I don't think she's hoarded new stuff for a long time. She talks to Chris when she needs him to fetch her OJ. Barb rarely cared about what Chris did, so long as her needs were met. Chris is a pet to Barb, like the dogs. Or, well, pet/servant. I don't think she distinguishes Chris as being separate from her life. He's a part of her life. No, Chris notices Barb's abuse. It's not at all underhanded nor passive aggressive.

How do you know how Barb abuses Chris? do you follow them both? peek in the windows at 14 BLC? and can you give some specific examples of what you have heard?

Stories. I don't know how much Barb goes anywhere nowadays.

I don't think there are any specific stories that are publicly available. I did talk about the subject before though. I don't think Barb has to intimidate Chris too regularly though, because she's already got him yielding to her. It's rare that he'd try to contradict Barb. But when he does try, Barb will do whatever she needs to to get compliance out of Chris, including trying to physically intimidate him.

Eat breakfast, play with Legos, play video games, eat lunch, play with Legos, maybe go on Facebook and play video games, rinse and repeat. Chris's life is really quite boring if you think about it.

How does that even work? Isn't she old and semi-mobile?
Does it mostly involve :stupid: so he doesn't realize she's not any real threat? Does she hit him with a rolled-up newspaper?

I wonder how he endures the tedium of his life. Seriously can you imagine doing nothing but playing with toys and vidya all day every day?

Even during my wildest(lamest) WoW splurges I could only play for a few days straight without getting sick of it. How does he get up every afternoon and face another day of the exact same thing he did yesterday. Hell if I was him of go out searching for Jerkops just to have someone else to interact with.

Ive thought about that. I get bored after two days off work, i cant imagine a life literally full of nothing. Im surprised he has never mentioned suicide.

i kinda think he was trying to set them up. If rocky was helping him get the cops involved to stop the trolls, then going to her with proof they wanted to troll him into hurting her would be a sure fire success, never mind he suggested it.

Although that was about the revelation that his gal-pals weren't really his gal-pals, rather than the apparent monotony of his life.

It's always amazed me that Chris is obsessed with some of the most infamously spergy franchises ever, but could never actually participate in fandom because he's too self-centered to even feign interest in other people's opinions. Usually people like him have thousands of posts on some forum or another.

He could have made it in a spergtopia of Sonic or Pokemon or Sailor Moon enthusiasts. He could have made friends who are also awkward and smelly and he'd be happier than he is now.

But really he would have just gotten banned or ragequit when nobody cared about his self-indulgent comics.

Don't know how many public stories exist.

But to give you a hypothetical example, if Chris was on his laptop too much, it might bother Barb. If she told him to get off it and he disobeyed her, she would get into a frothing rage and grab the laptop and smash it on the ground. Or throw it down the stairs. Something like that. Just to show Chris that if he is going to ramp up the situation, by disobeying her, she can get physical. And Chris doesn't think too hard about how likely that is, or how much damage she could reasonably do to him or anything like that. He just avoids the issue by obeying her.

And what I find interesting is how Chris defends Barb and makes excuses for her. He's like a battered wife. He'll talk about how all the trolls out in Charlottesville, or the world at large, are causing Barb stress. It's not Barb abusing him, it's the world abusing him through Barb, by making his poor mother stressed.

I can imagine them all now, in the middle of their terrible hedgehog cover of Everything Is Awesome, and then FMOOM. A q-sand drops near the outskirts of town... They try to run but they know IT will catch up with them no matter what.
