Yeah Leanna was the one chance he had. Women can be tricky but she even laid it out for him. "Leanna sat me down and discussed how we don't see each other much" If he can't make being self employed and working at home work IDK how any relationship will ever work with him. Leanna was very nice to put up with his laziness, attitude, poor hygiene etc. I doubt he smells good either. He was very lucky to find a girl, not sure if he realizes that or not. (prob not)

It always amazed me how she put up with his disgusting shit. She posted a picture of them two in bed and he's all hairy as fuck. Also he doesn't shower when he wakes up, who knows when he gets around to doing that.
Maybe I'm weird, but I thought that everybody showered first thing in the morning.

Phil took some bait when asked if he would dress up as a Street Fighter character for Halloween. And then he says he looks mostly like Zangief, and some recommended him dressing up as Honda. "No there is no way I could gain more muscle mass to look like a Sumo wrestle", when he thinks he passes as a Russian bear wrestler.

Phil is really lucky he's his own boss. He's so woefully unprepared and constantly underperforming. If he was reporting to anyone other than his mouth breather fanbase he'd have been fired long ago.

If a manager interviewed him, walked through that glass-windowed door, and heard him snort as he says "hey" he'd be "Okay. Leave immediately."

What happened to Phil make him so bitter? Some really close friends of mine play games, and we enjoy taking some time each week to play stuff together. One of those activities we will do semi-regularly is playing various forms of content in Destiny, including raids. We all really enjoy it and see it as a chance to sit back and spend time together. I would think a lot of people can understand that. We live in an age where technology can make up for the problem of distance for friends and family, and can provide a chance for us to stay connected with people after work and life move people away from each other. When you sit and compare how much access people have to each other now versus 40 years ago, it's pretty damn remarkable.

I get that part of Phil's issue with this is an age thing. Kids staying inside all day glued to a screen is a somewhat-valid argument often posed by adults deemed out-of-touch. But it comes off as the ranting of a bitter old man who doesn't have anyone real connected to him. He's out there alone, and he's clearly unhappy about that. As a defense against this loneliness he himself created, he laughs to keep from crying.

I knew a couple folks in school who would do what he does (shower before bed instead of in the morning) and they always smelled weird. Like bed funk and B.O.

They said it was better than showering in the morning because they "wake up feeling clean." I always took it as they were lazy and didn't want to get up earlier. No surprise DSP is also a fan of this hygiene hack.

It's not really an age thing. I'm the same age as Phil & all my friends played video games growing up. Plus, didn't he waste a lot of time in arcades pumping quarters into a street fighter cabinet like that's so much better? He's just bitter & resentful at how his life has turned out.

He'd have an extremely hard time finding work. He'd have to explain the large gap and the weirdest of his online life to an HR dude.

Personally, i'd find it hilarious to see what he'd say.

Basically this. He's on the wrong side of 35, no friends, no job, only woman on this planet that would tolerate him ditched him, absolutely zero prospects for the future. He knows all this, too. If he weren't a narcissist he'd have probably suck started a shotgun by now.

Drinking underage- I can believe that
Getting into trouble- Doubtful. He is now, and probably was then, too much of a pussy to handle any real heat
Hanging with friends- Iffy on that. He was playing at the arcade all the time, being a cringy proto version of the asshole he is now. We all know how he treated John and Howard.

When asked before he said he would tell the employer ahead of time about his online reputation and how it is all lies. If the employer didn't hire him because of all the "lies" the person is obviously not smart and Phil would not want to work for them anyway.
