Now this is a decent theory. He only complains about losing the house and I can 100% see Leanna being on the house title.
Sales of homes are public record, can someone find out if her name is on the title?

This was one of my theories as well. I don't think it's malicious i bet her family told her she is entitled to some money. This would explain losing the house and why he was throwing leanna under the bus in that vlog.
 
You have all been discussing these speculative theories for several thread pages and I still don't see any solid evidence from anyone. Anyone can spread hearsay, people. What proof do you have that he is in trouble with the IRS? What proof do you have that Leanna is involved in any possible way? Why is her name still being brought up when it's clear she cut ties with him completely months ago? I'm all for pondering what is happening with Phil but you guys are taking small clues and blowing them far out of proportions at this point.

(You're going to rate me "dumb" for asking for you to back up your wild theories with proof and evidence? Haha okay.)

Where would the fun be in knowing all the answers without having to speculate?
Are you even aware of what forum you're using right now?

This thread has 1595 pages. No shit 99% of it is unwarranted hearsay and speculation.

Then we'd better stop! Since hearsay is something you heard from someone else, may we take part in conjecture? Probably not...anyone can do that. We should also stop insulting Phil because anyone can do that. You know, anyone can follow Phil's stream chat, pre-stream, twitter, message boards, etc and post highlights here so let's stop that too. Even mentioning Phil is something anyone can do, so let's just shut it down.

Is there a mod available?

Speculation is perfectly fine, friendo. As long as it is not being presented as fact, who cares? Kick the ball around and stay on topic.

As an aside, when you tell people in a thread that what they are doing is wrong, the most civil and least confrontational approach is to rate you :dumb:. You weren't asking people to back up theories you were telling them how they were behaving from the standpoint of their behavior being incorrect. If you don't like the current stream of conversation, bring something new and salient to the table. Being a disruptive jackass will net you negrates at least and irritated responses at the most.

If you have any problems with what is being said here, report the posts and we will review them. You are not the thread police.

Ok so let's make it official then, these are the current theories surrounding DSP's emergency vlahg. I've placed my own opinion about what we know/don't below some of these, you can feel free to edit/update as you wish.
  • Phil issues
    • IRS Audit
      • Unlikely given he has denied it as well as having his taxes signed off by a proper accountant
    • Bank recalling loan due to risk factors or some sort of event happening with his debt
      • Certainly possible. Especially since Phil has 2 outstanding house loans and a loan for his car as well as other outstanding credit.
      • It is possible Phil's loan(s) were put through fraudulently by his bank, then another bank purchased them and has asked for documentation to prove his ability to pay his loan. If he cannot provide this, based upon what I've read, the bank can require he repay the loan immediately.
      • He could also be facing this due to nonpayment of homeowner's insurance, nonpayment of HOA dues or because he has failed to maintain the property or somehow reneged on terms he agreed with the bank.
    • Phil getting evicted due to HOA issues of some form
      • Unknown. Phil lives in a gated community and is pretty much required to keep the HOA happy. The only thing we know is he recently had to powerwash his driveway because the HOA requires it.
    • Phil having issues because of recent Equifax data leaks
      • Unlikely
    • YouTube/Twitch/Patreon/PayPal issues
      • Unlikely. Despite the downturn in YouTube revenue, Phil has a preferential relationship with Twitch and they don't really care to go after him.
      • It is possible that the large sum of money Phil was heavily dependent upon receiving in October has somehow been delayed or withheld due to unknown reasons.
  • Pandalee issues
    • Pandalee claiming palimony
      • This is possible in Washington
    • Pandalee trying to claim her share of the house/exit the house mortgage
      • This is a real possibility, but we do not know if she was listed on the mortgage.
      • UPDATE: according to some research by someone on this thread she is not listed on the deed for the house. Not sure if that means she couldn't still be a part of the mortgage though.
    • Pandalee is pregnant
      • Although someone claimed that Pandalee said she never wanted kids, things change when people actually get pregnant so this is not beyond the realm of possibility
  • Health related issues
    • Phil having some sort of health issues
      • Unknown. Even though Phil isn't healthy, there is nothing to really suggest something medically related at this stage with any certainty.
    • Phil's parents having some sort of health issues
      • Unknown.
  • Wildcard issues
    • EVO has tried to revoke Phil's 2005 4th place rank in Street Fighter Turbo 2 (as documented on wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution_Championship_Series)
    • Gout
    • Sexual harassment lawsuit
    • Libel/slander/defamation lawsuit launched by one of the many thousands of people Phil has attacked on his streams/videos
    • Heavy metal poisoning from consumption of poorly produced batch of V8 energy drinks
    • Physical injury caused by game controller
    • Major/expensive structural issues to Phil's house caused by his weight
    • Major/expensive mold issues caused by Phil keeping his house messy
    • Extended/immediate family being affected by natural disaster (such as a hurricane) and having to put Phil in a situation where he has to downscale his life in order to help them
    • Nothing
    • Ruse Cruise
      • Phil has done this as an elaborate ruse cruise and then will sit around at a later date to point out how mentally deranged his 'detractors' are for speculating

I think this thread has become the target of some pro-phil people who are trying to shut down any theories despite there being real precedent in them being true.

The thread literally only exists for people to wildly speculate about what a chubby guy who's really bad at playing video games is going to do when playing video games doesn't make him enough money to pay his bills. Then at some point that will happen and we're go from there.
