Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

I wonder if Chris still thinks he was in Bob's nuts in the '50s, especially now that he apparently thinks he was a lesbian who attended Woodstock in 1969.

*yawn*
Whatever went on, it's certainly a weird bit of globetrotting going on to get back into there after Woodstock. It's like Bob was cursed to deliver the same DNA strand over and over.

Why is chris so obsessed with this notion of him growing mentally and emotionally? He says "I've grown Mentally and Emotionally" so many times now, what does that even mean? What does he think it means?

He just wants to escape his autism, stupidity, bad temper, and naivete. He knows he's done stupid and ill-advised things in the past, but he wants to assure potential sweethearts that he's not like this anymore. He's been making this claim for ten years but for some reason hasn't managed to persuade anyone.

Does anyone know what happened between Chris and Jess? He's posting about how he regrets lying and losing her or some shit like that.

The original something awful cwc thread

Does anyone have an archive link to the first ever thread about CWC where the goon went to the game place to photograph OPL and derailed that webcomic thread with the exceptionalism that is Sonichu? Anyone have the archive link, or know what happened to that goon?

I think @Marvin has a link. But I don't think anyone knows anything about the goon

First off, hello, name's Smashjitzu, I'm new here.

Secondly, there's something I want answered: did we ever learn who on God's green Earth Magical Man was?

I think I asked Marvin about that, like a year or two ago.

The answer is, yeah, they did find out who he was, but the details are highly forgettable. As in, Marvin answered my questions with some details about the guy, and they were really, really boring and forgettable. Maybe it had something to do with the "Something Awful Forums?"

Anyway, the mystery and lore that has built up around the guy, far outshines the actual story. I remember thinking that, when I got my answer. He was just some guy, who stayed over at CWC's house for a weekend and was never heard from again. I think they might have had some sort of RL connection, friend of a friend type deal, that helped set it up. They made a video or two, he disappeared and wasn't really heard from again. It's not a mystery that consumes Christorians or anything.

That's about all there is to tell, as far as I can recall.

Thanks. That clears up one mystery about Chris for me. Who knows how far this rabbit hole goes?

On top of what everyone else has said, Marvin has also said that he could tell us the guy's name, but it wouldn't mean anything to anyone. He was a random person who was involved for a while, and then stopped being involved. He wasn't ever one of the big players on the stage.

I hope Chris gets to go on his date and has a wonderful time. I also hope he posts pictures of him being happy during the date.

Just so I can see a bunch of nerds get riled up that he is happy.

I recently became aware of the fact that Issues 2-5 of Sonichu have a redacted back cover. The original back cover is advertising for his dream of a Sonichu game but that was replaced later down the road with the generic "Sonichu Adventure" ad for the Gamecube. Does anyone happen to know the reason for the change? I've looked on the Cwcki but it doesn't mention much aside from that it was changed when uploaded to the Cwckipedia.

Any help would be phenomenal, thanks!

That is kind of odd, anf now I'm curious, too. My best guess is that at some point, someone pointed out that his letter on the back didn't look very professional. (It's possible that Chris realized this on his own, but I tend to assume that Chris never has original thoughts.) From thers he probably replaced it with an ad for the game he wanted to make in order to make it look like a "real" comic book.

I'm sure that's all it is. Wanting to act like it's real and simply going ahead with it than not to have anything there at all.

Now that Hugh Hefner is dead, that means there must be at least 12 Boyfriend-Free Girls out there. Come on CWC, this is your chance!
