Why Tumblr doesn't simply attach itself to the actual shows that do have diversity? You know, like Total Drama. It has diversity but it's not obnoxious about it.

Yeah, except Total Drama, aside from being cancer in general, was actually kind of obnoxious about its diversity, but in a completely different way. Almost every character in the show is either a stereotype or literally a copy of a character from a live action film. I'd even go so far as to say that the black girl was basically just a racist caricature.

Also, the art style in the show is godawful.

What is it about BNHA that's been drawing in the Tumblrinas lately? I mean, yeah, BNHA has canon trans characters, but they only appear in the manga, and as far as I can tell most of the fans on Tumblr are anime-only casuals.

Here, look how she's drawn in one of earlier chapters of the comic.
