BTW incase anyone isn't watching it, his stream is great.
He's playing fortnite and hasn't read any instructions or done any tutorial and is acting surprised that he has no idea what is going on.

This is like watching a small kid lie. He denies he makes that much but refuses to give a more accurate number because he knows it'd look bad then tries to shift the topic of income to be about how much in debt he is for sympathy. I bet this worked on his parents all the time while he was growing up.

Phil is so oblivious on how to play Fortnite that he's somehow managed to avoid detection by anyone so far (and he's also resorted to hiding like a cockroach) and is actually one of the last 19 people left.
Of course he pinned this as "I'm one of the top 20!"

This is so stupid since Mario Odyssey is such a major fucking title. I mean I guess he doesn't care since the shit with Nintendo, but come on, you're so worried about day one views and you never play shit people want to watch.
I know this is old hat, he does this all the time, but Im just, it really hit me and sunk in, how stupid it is that he does this shit.
Is he really not gonna play Mario Odyssey right when it's released because, "I already played a Mario game"?

I can't wait to hear stories about this accomplishment 2 decades from now when everyone is too busy having sex with their modems to give a fuck.

With these games you can get survive a long time just by hiding like a bitch. The thing is most people don't have fun doing that and you will eventually be fucked by a sniper the second you have to relocate to the safe area (because the skilled players tend to keep moving inward and gathering gear). That's how these games roll when you're solo, you WILL abruptly die to sniper fire if you're alone and have to move.
If Phil has trouble keeping up with his debts, he needs to seriously consider getting a bankruptcy lawyer and prepare to file a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Basically, he'll lose his car, his two homes, the contents inside those homes, etc, but it at least allows the debts to be extinguished and allow him to start over again.
He's maxed out at this point. He will not be able to get any more bits, Patreon donations, or Youtube ad revenue. Why is he stressing over this when he realizes that the $7,000 or so he makes pre-tax will not be able to service his debts? Might as well light everything on fire and start over.
He may need to admit defeat, file a Chpater 7, move back to Connecticut, live with his parents for a while, work a shitty minimum wage job, and perhaps earn just enough money to get back into the Youtube thing with some new equipment.
You do need a few hundred dollars to file a Chapter 7 though.

He's complaining that someone managed to shoot him from far away.
In Phil's world this means that "you're weak in this game! really fucking weak!"
Apparently he's never played a game with assault/sniper rifles before...
If you watch him play in this game, and having to actually spot enemies that are far away, he really can't pay attention or even see enemies, much less aim at them and get shots off.
EDIT:
He has one health and can't figure out how to heal himself even though he has the items to do so and chat is trying to tell him how. Someone in chat told him he already had full health (despite only having 1/100 health) and he full on believed it...

I don't know why he insists on playing this way. Reading a tutorial for 5 minutes off-stream would save him & his fans so much time and frustration, it would also cut down on TIHYDP material too.

If you want a TLDR of how his Fornite stream has been going so far...
His stream chat has repeatedly been telling him he should play with 'friends'. There are people in chat who he knows somewhat well who are ready to play with him, but he's ignoring them.
Phil refuses to play in a lobby so far.
(and his chat isn't nitpicking either, people commonly say that with PUBG-like games its a lot more rewarding if you play with friends).
He's also saying he would never pay for the game because its "random online stuff"
