Oh yeah, we know Chris has seen movies like Saw and Spring Breakers, though given what we know of his interests these still seem rather incongruous to me. In fact, Chris has said that he is bothered by violence in movies - possibly because of his delusion that all fictional characters are real to some degree - and yet has a fixation on the Saw movies, even using them as part of the inspiration for his murder of the Asperchu Four (which, if you'll recall, was inspired by them causing the "death" of Simonla). Its very strange to me...

But as MysticMisty says, it does raise the question of when he finally saw his first PG-13 and R rated movies. I would not be surprised at all to find out that Barb was an overprotective, helicopter mom who hovered around Chris, making sure he didn't get into anything too "mature" or "adult" for his childish mentality. Indeed, that sort of weird mentality might be one of the many things that screwed up Chris. He has a very prudish, even childish attitude towards things (using his extensive list of euphemisms like "duck," "china," "reeb," and the like to refer to things that make him uncomfortable). I wonder if he started sneaking behind Barb's back to watch "salty" PG-13 rated movies once he developed an obsession with women? I can just see him watching some of the 90s trash like... Barb Wire or something.

Haha... and no, that's not a Barb joke. We just know he has bad taste and that he liked Pamella Anderson, so it seems like the type of thing he'd watch.

WOW! That's an awful lot of books "for Dummies" over there on the bookshelves. Guess I shouldn't be surprised. This is the Chandler clan we're talking about here...

I really hope that was a nickname for Bob, then the cake would be cute and funny. I think it's Chris' random-access humor though. After all, Chris did put Sonichu on Barb's birthday cake...

The fact that it says "Mom & Barbara" makes it sound like it's a cake for two separate people. Also, in my humble opinion store bought cakes are ugly and taste nasty. But Chris has probably never had a homemade cake in his life.

He's so used to pre-processed crap that if he was given a truly great home made cake he'd call it nasty.

Also, that calendar looks to be from 2009, and whoever was using it stopped crossing off days after 7 Sep. I initially assumed it was 2010 (I gather the photo is from that year) and that they were celebrating his birthday 4 days late, but the first of the month in 2010 was Weds. So I guess Bob or whoever just got lazy with it.

Edit: I'm a moron and forgot that it says he's 80 right there on the damn cake. So this was 2007 and I have no clue what the deal is with the calendar because Sept only started on a Tuesday in 1998 and 2009. Whoever put it up was either a time traveler or hadn't touched it in 9 years.
