I am afraid to hear an origin story on that name.Wow, not one, but two "Internet for Dummies" books. And three on Windows 95!
Does anyone know whether "Papa Smurf" was an established nickname for Bob, or just some random-access humor that Chris put on the cake?

He knew how to cut down the internet.omg, the A&P spices above Barb. I don't even remember when Super Fresh or A&P was even in that area of VA ... early 1990s?!
All the Windows 1995 books leads me to believe that Bob knew how to use a modern computer at least for a while.
I've now read all 125 pages of this thread. Totally worth it.

Chris on his actual first date.
I don't know what pissed him off more, the fact that the set isn't TRUE and HONEST lego, or that it's a DANG, DIRTY JERKOP setChris and all the police and detectives in his power, all in one picture.
The fact that it says "Mom & Barbara" makes it sound like it's a cake for two separate people. Also, in my humble opinion store bought cakes are ugly and taste nasty. But Chris has probably never had a homemade cake in his life.I really hope that was a nickname for Bob, then the cake would be cute and funny. I think it's Chris' random-access humor though. After all, Chris did put Sonichu on Barb's birthday cake...

He's so used to pre-processed crap that if he was given a truly great home made cake he'd call it nasty. The fact that it says "Mom & Barbara" makes it sound like it's a cake for two separate people. Is Barb straight up wearing a retro bathrobe? The single safety pin straining to spare the world the vision of her milk bags not only screams "classy" but also "100% Goodwill".There were two photos, one with Chris, and one with Barb...

I started reading this thread from the beginning and this post on page 13 stuck out to meShhh...dont' tell Chris. He might light some fires around 14 Branchland to coax his long lost sweetheart to save him.![]()
Also, that calendar looks to be from 2009, and whoever was using it stopped crossing off days after 7 Sep. I initially assumed it was 2010 (I gather the photo is from that year) and that they were celebrating his birthday 4 days late, but the first of the month in 2010 was Weds. So I guess Bob or whoever just got lazy with it.
I wonder if he started sneaking behind Barb's back to watch "salty" PG-13 rated movies once he developed an obsession with women?
