Infected The Rick and Morty fandom and haters

Pickle Rick? Fear not, Sonichu's got our backs. All hail his digestive system.
Not only did you post a wall of shit, but you posted a wall of shit knowingly because what we see here is what you should have seen before you clicked "Post Reply".

I don't know what kind of stupid you specifically have, but I would hope you fix the problem soon.

I forget who it was on here, but someone said that Justin Roiland is just a shitposter that got lucky. All he really does is get hammered and then say gibberish into a microphone.
Isnt that what Tim and Eric did? Isnt that what anyone successful on adult swim did?

It sounds like a bunch of normies are figuring out what its like to be a part of a fanbase that has the same quality fanbase as MLP, Steven Universe, and Sonic

I have to say, I had my suspicions about this show's fandom from the start. I always thought it was a little too fedora-tippy, but not up until a couple of weeks ago did I finally realize just how dumb this fandom really is. That, of course, was after I learned someone I know considered themselves a huge "Rick" type, I.E.: they act like nothing matters, yell that they wanna die all the time, and overall act incredibly autistic when it comes to the show.

Granted, even though I may not like the show that much, even I at least understand Rick is not supposed to be a role model, and that the show itself is not meant to be taken that seriously. It can even be funny at times, especially when Morty ends up playing the straight man to Rick after he does something stupid.

But if you're putting the drunk nihilist Doc Brown on a pedestal over the sane main character, you may need to rethink why you like this show.

They’ve said flat out in the show that Rick isn’t meant to be a role model.

It means you get to sit back and watch those groups getting into exceptional fights over a cartoon where half the humor is the old guy burping and doing other SO RANDUMB XD stuff.

Screw sitting back, honestly I'd hope incels somehow miraculously wipe out antifa.

Incels just hang out in their basement and would probably die out a generation later, then they'd both be gone.

This is a tumblr page that was dedicated to pointing out every little problematic detail in Rick and Morty she can find.

However, once people started calling her out, it blog devolved into an agent for her to start making sarcastic quips about her right to free speech.

Also full of "anti-bigotry" rants.

Found someone who needs their own thread

Kind of an interesting comparison there.

A couple of years ago, the BBT's fanbase was pretty similar to how Rick and Morty's is now; a bunch of people waving their dicks around over how "smart" they are for "getting" the show. If you think about it, is there really that much of a conceptual difference between "Bazinga" and "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub", beyond the latter being a parody of the former? The fans boiled both down to the most iconic phrases in each show, despite them not being even remotely funny.

As impartial as I am to all of this, I think most people can probably agree that Rick and Morty is... less grating than the BBT. At the very least, Rick and Morty doesn't put canned laughter after every other line.

I would say something about which fanbase is more obnoxious than the other, but my frame of reference isn't great for the cringe of the BBT fandom, since I avoided it like the plague when it was popular.
