Yeah as someone who watches soccer I call bullshit.. If you watch international football you will probably know that even the oldest European teams can sometimes be filled to the brim with POC & immigrants (France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland all come to mind, especially the 1st 3)..

Also, the trends are all in favour of national diversity, from 1986 to the upcoming 2018 tournament:

• Africa's representatives have risen from 2 countries to 5
• Asia's representatives have risen from 2 to 4.5 (The 0.5 signifies a play-off place that is contested with another continents.
• Also, the idiot gaffot forgot about the fact that South, Central Americas & the Carribean nations, which are all POCs too..

Also, the numbers for Asia & Africa will increase in the scheduled 2026 expansion to near double (8 & 9 teams, respectively), which is the biggest increase for any region.
