Alex and his fans both talk about it like it's her second year and she also goes to a second year class, I think the tapes are just some kind of error.

I don't remember the tapes explicitly stating it's her first year, but I wouldn't be shocked. He's rewritten the plot and twisted everything over and sideways trying to make an intricate web of mystery for the player to suss out, so there's no way there aren't gaping plotholes left behind. This being Ayano's second year makes no sense since she doesn't know about Info-chan already, doesn't know anything about the school or teachers, doesn't know the other students, and never met Senpai before this year??

And ignoring all that: if she was completely unremarkable last year, why is the headmaster afraid of her? Why is Megami such an ass to her? She obviously has shown after an entire school year that she's harmless, considering the lack of talk about already missing, injured, or otherwise 'eliminated' students--I mean, sure until Senpai she had no reason to hurt them for love, but they have no way of knowing her (or her mother's) motives regarding the murder. She has no criminal record up to this point. She's literally just The Daughter of That One Schoolgirl Tried For Murder. Which sure, in Japanese society (according to Wikipedia), is enough to cause social problems for her but...using a taser on her?

(Also there is no way her fellow students and teachers don't know who her mom is and that's never brought up, excuse me no that would definitely be talked about her mom is famous for a murder trial)

So unless she's been stalking Senpai all last year (and even then did nothing else creepy, suspicious, or otherwise dangerous), there's no reason to freak about her.

There is no valid reason for Megami to know about Ayano because she never did anything, there are only 2 possible explanations:

A) Ayano's mom did something to Megami's family and she knows what, but Megami is blinded by her pride so she blames Ayano regardless and assumes she must be evil like her mother. (sounds like a nice twist actually)

B) Megami is a member of the sacred Saikou Bloodline, the rival family of the evil Aishi Bloodline and they must fight each other to death because it's their [DESTINY].

90% chances Alex will say it's the B option.

Apparently "Roblox Yanderesim" is a thing (for some reason). There are even dedicated servers for it. I found one minute with a literal group of innocent kids playing it.

Think "just kids" only applied years ago. I mean outside the shitty style, it's Habbo in 3D. Could appeal to some.. Less fortunately developed adults.
How can he say "push back two weeks" if he can't even keep schedule? Christ.

Maybe the girl Ayano's mom killed was a Saikou? Megami's aunt, the heir before her dad became one, etc. Maybe mom's senpai was aunt's fiance. But I put my bet on the B option, the first one isn't edgy enough.

Didn't think about that possibility, it would make sense, too much for Alex to consider that.

But if that's the case then why would they let Ayano in the school (which is owned by the Saikou family)? There are heavy implications that Ayano and her mother are being protected by the Saikous, from them not letting the cops search the school 30 years ago to the headmaster tasing Ayano and saying "The deal is off Mr. Saikou".

They wouldn't protect her if it was really the case right? I was thinking the mom must have blackmailed the Saikous into protecting her but it's probably not this simple. I don't know what Alex is planning but i'm sure it will be an edgy stupid twist of retarded proportions.

According to the basement tapes this is supposed to be Ayano's first year. If this is her second, her parents have been in America for a year and a half?

How does Megami know Ayano??? If this is her first year, then it'd make sense for the headmaster to take a minute to realize who she is, except this is her second year, so it's even more confusing in the case of the headmaster as well.

This is giving me an aneurysm
It feels rushed.

This is all just off the top of my head, likely very flawed.

But on the laptop, Megami says;

"My father won't allow me to attend school while you are..."active". He has a reason for tolerating your presence at this school. I don't. You are a vulgar creature that is only allowed to exist because you serve a purpose. If it was my decision, then every last one of you would be exterminated ..."

She (and her family) might be aware and possibly somehow tied into the Aishi family, and their strange brand of yandere tendencies. Megami displays a very heroic and moral personality, which may lead to her disapproving of Ayano's very nature in spite of any kind of benefit or deal involving the company. Even when she doesn't harm someone, Ayano is still sociopathic and somehow sabotaging her 'Senpai' and her rivals.

The Headmaster could have known Ayano was there somewhere and just didn't actually see her until she walks into the office.

Clearly, her presence shakes him. I'm wondering if he was somehow 'convinced' by the Saikou family to sweep Ryoba's murder under the rug.

He does fall into a quite poor physical and mental state after Ryoba does whatever she does. Letting someone get away with the murder of an innocent, young girl would weigh heavy on one's soul, especially if you're somehow convinced to be quiet about it because of a major company, revealing the corruption in something so influential.

Since he's mentioned to have 'so little to lose' he might tase Ayano to prevent that situation from ever occuring again, breaking his deal with Megami's father to tolerate Ayano's presence.

New user here. I've been lurking for a while.

Also, how would Megami even know when Ayano is "active"? Does she just watch her until she starts becoming horny and goes "Okay, I had enough. Time to take action." If Ayano is such a threat, why hasn't Megami removed her from the school yet? Has she taken steps yet to stop her in her footsteps? Has she even tried? It seems like she would have tried to make her life a living hell the first week she falls in love with Senpai.

this hurts me and sorry if I sound :autism:

Her father doesn't let her physically attend school. She's not actually in control of the company or the school just yet, her father is still the big guy, and he lets Ayano stay there. She can only make an attempt to stop her when her father finally agrees to let her go to school.

It says in the wiki she begins to not attend school on the first week. But I feel like she would have made her first attempt the week before, i don't know lmao

At this point I'm expecting Japanese School Nazis or some other retarded shit like that.
