'whyisuedtaylorswift' doesn't exist on IG.

'whyisuedtaylor' is an IG account but it claims to be a parody account which is born out by its content;

I can imagine Rusty will be over the moon at the thought of his thread being deleted, only for this glee to turn to reeeing once he finds out he now has a a subforum.

This would be one of the only things he could list under "achievements" in his Résumé.

So, you have a burning desire to make a thread here in the Russel Greer board, do you?
Are you sure that your idea or content deserves a thread of it own?
Before you press that :reply: button to submit your new thread, take a few moments to read below, so that you can save yourself the trouble and embarrassment of having your thread locked and deleted with prejudice. For there are many threads that already exist that would likely fit your content unless it fits some specific guidelines.

When To Make a Thread in this board:
  • You have something significant, and new, to contribute (i.e. @sharshorita trial report)
  • Greer does something on social media (i.e. Greer makes a post on FB, his blog, instagram, etc.)
  • A significant event with Greer happens (i.e. Book release, a trial sentence, etc.)
  • Speculation on a very significant event (i.e. the book release)
  • Greer dies

When Not To Make a Thread here:
  • Random thoughts & questions, post them in a relevant thread or not at all
  • When a blogger or vlogger mention him
  • You're mad at him/Want to hurt him/Want to have sex with him
  • General speculation
  • You want to talk about mormons in general
  • Insignificant social media posts (likes, irrelevant shares, etc)

The whole point of having this board instead of a single thread is to make thing more organized and accessible for everyone, so for thread titles a format "[14-Sep-2015] Facebook post about another book delay" is better than "new update". Keep in mind that new people come to see Greer too and it would be awesome if we made it easier for them to join us in watching this trainwreck.

When in doubt, post in a general thread and tag @yawning sneasel, @Melchett or me.

(Thanks to @JSGOTI / @yawning sneasel for helping write this.)

Oh cool we sub forum now. I think Russ may be afraid to release it because of the legal trouble it could land him in. While he's immune to good advice IMO he ought to release it for free and give up on selling it commercially. There isn't a very big audience and his arguments of fair use and whatnot are more persuasive if he can claim that it is simply a work of fantasy; a celebrity fanfiction if you will. Which it is. His ego will not allow him to admit that though.

I think you are right. Either that, or someone mentioned it takes 72 hours for amazon to process. But you would think he would have said something by now if that was the case.

Maybe just one more attempt to scare Swift’s attorneys into responding?

Love this. Great idea for a thread. He’s been more silent than usual lately...probably because everyone is expecting this book and it’s nowhere to be found.

Swift's people are best off ignoring everything his goofy irrelevant ass writes. He will take any official response as validation from Taylor Swift herself. That's how stalkers think. Still, writing a fictional work about a real person, defaming them, is probably a good way to get sued. Likely nobody will care what nonsense he writes if he isn't trying to sell it though. ShakespeareHemmingway on fanfiction.net has lots of stories that include celebrities (which is against their rules) but they're so facetious that nobody would care to sue them over it.

I think he'll probably release something eventually. He NEEDS the attention, and knows people are already saying he won't produce anything. The need to save face (as if he could save that face) and the need for attention will win out eventually, and he'll shit something out.

Plus he will probably only get sued if the book makes a ton of money using Taylor's name, or signifigantly damages her reputation. The fact is the book will do neither. I'll be shocked if the book sales reach double digits. Hell he may only sell a copy to kayli, and a kiwi or two.
