Lol I just checked and my avatar changed again. Whoever said it was gonna be an Assassins Creed outfit deserves a fucking prize TBH.

Lil bit drunk. Its raining where I am so halloween is cancelled for a bit.

In Germany there’s no Halloween because German people suck.
But you can always tune into DSP to get those spooky feels. :woo:

Reasons why Phil Burnell is not Italian:

  1. He keeps saying he's from Connecticut.
  2. Doesn't even have an Italian accent.
  3. Burnell is hardly an Italian surname. It has its origins in anglo-saxon tribes of Britain https://www.houseofnames.com/burnell-family-crest
  4. There is a christmas vlog where he says he hasn't even been to Europe so he couldn't have possibly even been to Italy. Actual timestamp is 01:35 but the bit before is good to https://youtu.be/cHcAZaU2lxs?t=59s
  5. Pretty sure he can't even speak Italian.
  6. His sauce with canned tomatoes and a diabetes inducing amount of sugar.
  7. His passport if he even had one would be an American passport.
Why does he pretend to be Italian? Is connecticut that bad he has to pretend to be from somewhere else.
Theory: He thinks it makes him special since no one else on YT or Twtich is Italien or America-Italian!

As a european i dont see the significance of having european ancestry, or others, unless they are close in time eg grandparent or grandparents parent and still then it doesn't make the person italian or what ever nationality!

No Halloween here either, but that because we mostly finds it stupid and meaningless!

I think he's claiming Italian heritage, not that he's a native dago.

It's fine to claim Italian heritage. I wouldn't be calling him out on it otherwise. But he doesn't claim Italian heritage he claims he is Italian there is a difference. I wouldn't even bring up had it not already been mentioned by someone else.

Same reason he touted his "house" and girlfriend. Ego.

Italian*
Best EVO 2005 at SF II**
House***
Girlfriend****

* Not including 75% of his heritage
** Not including the first 3 placers
*** Not including the condo agreement that says otherwise
**** Not including the breakup

I'd say that's the answer really. Ego. Like how people claim they are part royalty or 84th cousins to a celebrity or something.

If he were even trying to be I-talian wouldn't he be drinking a nice glass of red wine with his pasta?

Would be fun to know what part of Italy his family originated from since food traditions varies throughout Italy!

What I find interesting is on that website you gave, "Burnell" motto is "Caritas Fractum habet" which translates into Charity Bears Fruit.

His very name demands you donate.

Phil is also top viewed right now for Friday The 13th.

Viewbots are working I guess.
Or rather, the views of other channels are abysmal, even worse than his own views (600+ views for this fucking shilled and hyped joke of an event?).

By the way, Nool. If I wanted look like a hooded gouty "Italian" fatso, I'd stick with Cosimo de Medici, thank you very much. As The (Based) Irate Gamer once said, "breakfast Halloween is ruined".

To add to that, he can't find Italy on a map (As shown in Bully)
And he's said before he's only 25% Italian, he's also said before he's like 50% Polish. So he's more Polish than Italian.

The only reason I can think of for why he does the Italian thing is he tends to do it during food stuff. I think its so people don't challenge his opinions on Italian food, because he's 'actually' Italian so he has more leverage in his opinion of Italian food. Also he's an insecure person and it gives him an identity and a sense of belonging.

He probably also does it to excuse the fact that he flails his arms around like a mad man during his vlogs. Italians tend use hand jesters a lot after all.

At time of doing this saying 715 viewers for me. Here is the viewer list.

Are the other channels viewcounts really that abysmal? I think its a pretty decent number if they grew their audiences organically tbh

Actually he gets the Italy one on his first try (second only because the flag wasn't quite on the X) he remembers it looks like a boot. So I'll give him that tiny little victory (its in the linked video I posted)

And its his opinions on Italian food that actually make me question his Italian heritage even more.
