Remember: Breakup was totally mutual GUISE! *SNORT*

Yep, its a bit later than some people thought but as we all knew eventually he couldn't resist and has really been laying into her these past couple months

publicly announcing he found a way to evade more taxes for the business ...

I know there's very little chance the IRS is going to look into a failure like Phil, but this is the kind of shit that gets you moved from the "a bunch of nerds keep emailing us about this guy" list to the "might as well run a check just in case..." one.

Its unlikely, but its also not something I'd be blabbing about either.

Well no. If a retailer isn't obligated to collect sales tax then you don't have to pay it. As the consumer/purchaser you're not implicated in any failure by the business selling you something to obey tax laws. If the seller doesn't collect the tax and was obligated to collect it, then the state can assess the seller and make them pay the tax. It would then be up to the seller to try to collect it after the fact from the buyer.

Excuse me Miss Soap Queen. Could you please head over to Phil's house immediately and remove your soap.

Thanks,
#dsparmy

No.

Patreon data for the time being, as far as I can tell:
  • 4 pledges added at the minimum amount to get voting privileges, total: $18.81
  • 2 pledges added at the minimum amount to get voting privileges, then removed so it doesn't get charged next month, total: $8.88
  • 3 pledges removed (doesn't include the ones just mentioned) at the minimum amount to get voting privileges- probably people who wanted to vote last goal but not this goal, total: -$13.35
  • 3 pledges in oddball amounts added, total: $2.38
  • 6 pledges in oddball amounts removed, total: -$30.55
  • 2 pledges in oddball amounts added then removed, total: $16.16
Grand total: 0 net patron gain, $25.36 total pledge value lost.

I can't tell if this Sam R. Laseter is a troll or not. If not, he legitimately comments on almost every DSP tweet...
At this point, I'd say he's a troll doing a hell of a stealth job.

Jesus fucking Christ. This isn't how you talk about someone when the breakup was mutual and amicable. This just sounds like the bitter anger of a man who was dumped.

Showing again that Phil can't think outside the box. Probably could have gone on Craigslist and sold all those supplies with the stipulation that you need to come pick it up. Although Phil says it can't be resold then he underestimates the hoarders out there. Even if it's for 10 bucks and they spend the day cleaning it out it's less work you have to do.

Maybe she was being considerate and left him a whole bunch of Kentish Rain *snort*, he used to plug it all the time and claimed it was the only soap he used, dood!

Yup it was the best thing since sliced bread and the only soap he'd allow to touch his skin and now its garbage and shit.

So I want to bring up an old King of Pol post that's related to this:

Seems like ole' Phil might be running the Black Currant.

I get the feeling Phil wouldn't bother unless it was something dead easy like dropping prewrapped soap packages into a slot in the living room and getting mailed a cheque. More like she didn't bother to change from his return address for awhile.

I think that would be too much work.

It should be something more like this:

Yeah you're right. He'd have to drive on down to the post office and pay the shipping...neither of which he would be happy about.

Man though. He blew all that money on soap stuff through the years and it's just going in the garbage.

I recall a Christmas where he bought her piles of that shit.

He could be making even less than what you see on socialblade

Woow dood. For someone with a business degree he is so damn stupid at business. He never learned about opportunity cost in his economics class. He wastes time diddling around on youtube and twitch that other profitable things that he could be doing, like work, that he misses out on.
