...Some nice men in white coats would like to see you right now, Bob.

Why would anybody kickbox a machine with no obvious vulnerable points? The man doesn't even understand how muscle-headed fighting works. Then again I guess he's hoping a dozen of those will be able to pull his corpse out of the basement in a few years.

Those poor... poor robots....

When we robots finally kill all humans, I want you all to know it was Bob that made it seem like a good idea at the time.

I'm all for Self Employment, Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurship. I'm a long time succesful business owner fully self employed. I'm just not entirely sure that Bob is one? (I'll give him he works harder and is more professional at it than say Spoony or most of the other cows around here... but still.) In Bob's world are hot pockets and sugar laced carbonated drinks actual schedule C itemized expenses?

Look at his Patreon. I doubt Bob's had to pay any taxes... ever.

Bob's Patreon is doing pretty well by lolcow standards, being worth $3,496 per month and increasing. For the basement life he has, that's enough.

Ayn Rand detested useless parasites like Bob. It's ironic so many Randroids are in fact just like Bob.
How common is it for them to become a """progressive left leaning individual""" as Bob would consider himself though? Not being sarcastic, can't tell if it's Bob's Republican past showing and people are too dumb to notice or Ayn Rand has fans on the left too.

I'm twisting between "Haha, this doofus only makes $3500 a month" and "Jesus tittyfucking Christ, this doofus actually makes $3500 a month?!?"

It's a conundrum.

I'd go with the latter reaction, when you think of all the homeless shelters, struggling working class families, animal shelters, soup kitchens, churches, libraries (local and city), and cancer research centers that could actually use that money (it ain't much, but it'll help them towards something bigger and every little bit counts).

Doesn't help when you factor in his YouTube revenue either. There used to be an old rule of thumb that for every 1000 views you made 1 dollar off of YouTube ads, so let's use that rule when looking at Bob's YouTube revenue. Let's also go with him splitting his Geek.com YouTube revenue 50/50, since we don't have any idea on how much he makes from writing for them.

So, using the last five videos from both his personal channel and Geek.com, Bob has made $68 and $140 respectively (note that two of Bob's last two videos were Batman v. Superman, thus considered demonetized). That's only an extra $208, but add that to his Patreon and he's making something like $44,400 annually before taxes.

That's peanuts for living in Boston. I wonder if he realizes how much further he could stretch that dollar if he moved to one of the Backwards Superstitious Useless States.

Fellas...anybody would do wonders with that kind of revenue more than Bob does. This amount is extremely ridiculous for someone that lives in his basement.

Hey, all those Mario dolls and poorly-fitting retro video game t-shirts aren't gonna pay for themselves.

What! Move to Obsolete America where they still have Witch Burnings and Lynch Mobs?! Surely you jest! Really though. Bob probably considers The Handmaidens Tale a documentary on what life in Obsolete America is like.

We've dealt with this before: Bobby can't phone a pizza delivery in Obsolete States.

There's brand loyalty, and then there's Bob.

Now I'm imagining him being so deluded that he tries to punch out Robert Redford or Toby Jones.

And on the retweet side, we have some emotional exploitation...

And some hardcore projection:

Also, Bob's daring to criticize PoCs for doing the same shit he does.

Rand would hate most of her fans, especially since Objectivism was more "Ayn Randism" and was her attempt to codify her thoughts and opinions (e.g., aesthetics). Most people that call themselves Objectivists aren't, they just wiki up a cliffnotes version and decide that's the fancy new thing they'll label themselves as. Most of these kinds of people don't exactly have a consistent ideology, and something like a nice pair of tits on a crazy broad can change a political opinion faster than an argument.

Yeah but at that level does he even have to pay any taxes?

If right that would seem to put him in one of the lower brackets

Seeing his tweets yesterday that cement him as tax ignorant and his insistence of calling his apartment a "studio", I'm guessing Bob might be one of those idiots who claims his entire rent as a business expense in order to get enough Schedule A deductions to get into the 15% bracket.

That usually ends well.
