I think that only the most retarded and stupid arguments should be barred from threads, for the sake of keeping noise down or to keep topics focused, prevent derailing. however looking at that list they should pick only one or two at the most, but putting a list of all possible rebuttals and saying "nah dont make those points" then they should just fucking say "this topic has been beaten to death and is now verboten.

It's strange though how in the past few years the moral watchdogs of society have done a complete 180 from being intensely conservative fundamentalists to far-left progressives. I wonder if it's at all a product of the vacuum that's been left since the right-wing watchdogs have pretty much disappeared in the past few decades.

I'm not even going to debate how idiotic this point is even at face value, I just want to say that banning people or threatening to do so in case they disagree with the "criticism" presented is the definition of censorship. I mean, this is so blatant, this is so in your face ironic that I shudder to think the kind of mongoloid that would, as a moderator no less, read it again before posting and think to him/her/itself "yeah this is some good stuff".

The right wing morality police still exist but people as a whole take them way less seriously than they used to, plus I'm sure they also did a fair bit of eating their own and driving away people in their ranks which has helped thin their numbers a good bit. SJWs almost certainly have the same future ahead.
BTW anyone want to make any bets on how long REEEEsetera lasts before it inevitably collapses on itself? I'm gonna be generous and give it a year and a half.

Depends on whether or not the mods, or preferably the admins, have any shit they'd rather not come out into the open.
Otherwise, it will just continue its downward spiral into irrelevancy. More of a slow death rather than a collapse.

The moral majority police are alot like the SJW in that its a mix of two groups those that are true believers/useful idoits and their leadership/wanna be leadership. They functioned much better before the leveling of media when you could get parents and groups to attack tv networks, publishers, record labels, basically the gatekeepers of pop culture and media.
I m old enough to remember how the evils of porn would destroy our society etc, then the internet happened and well it wasnt porn that took down western culture.
One difference I see is that the conservatives wanted to "preserve" and "protect" moral purity they took a view that the culture was already good and under attack from outside influences seeking to corrupt it. Like that black music etc.
The SJW see the status qo as corrupt and problematic in need of change and they are the vanguard etc. whats weird is while the moral majority would pressure record labels and tv/movie studios while happily giving sermons and debates on the evil of lacking morality. The SJW tend to target individuals shrink away from debate or challenges.
