How on earth do you forget what type you are? If you're going to to fake a mental illness at least be believable...

Bipolar makes some sense. I've known people with it and watched documentaries. When manic, these people can feel like anything is possible. They can do anything. This would totally explain his delusions regarding his success. Manic episodes can last a long time. It's not just quick mood swings like a lot of people believe.
Also, they do diagnose teens. A lot of teens are on meds for depression, ADHD, skitzophrenia (sp?) Not because doctors are bad but because it's necessary. A good doctor would know when it's necessary to medicate.

They try not to though. They'll usually say 'they have bipolar like behaviours' over giving an out right diagnose. Yes good doctors will do what they can depending on the case presented. Sometimes they medicate or are more serious about one person while they assume the next will grow out of it once high school is over.

Everyone seems to agree on Russ' manic episodes. But no one is citing any actual depression periods. The only time I could think of is when he did his rage delete of his facebook after the Taylor trial. Even then he wasn't remorseful of his actions, he was being a coward and scolded. Which is something that has been proven. Russ is a spineless bitch when confronted.

I'm interested if anyone could actually find an instance of Russ showing genuine depression. Not him trying for guilt tripped butt pats.

Just found out the reason he was trying to send people after that girl yesterday.

Really that sounds like Russell's kind of organization. They support California lowering penalties for HIV transmission, use quotes around the words "human trafficking" as if they're fine with it, and they unironcially use the term "whorephobic".

What a lovely group.

Ahahaha, he called her historonic! If only he could apply that vocabulary word to himself, many of his issues would be resolved. However, we all know application of knowledge is not one of his strengths.

Thanks for the laughs, Russhole. Ironic humor is one of my faves.

No, she called him histrionic. I doubt Rusty even knew that word until she said it. You are totally right though, he cannot apply logic when it comes to himself.

Here's a fun little compare/contrast for you. See if you can guess who the following text is about:

"[X]'s diagnosis may turn out to be psychopathy, but the real key to understanding him is that he lacked empathy. And once someone no longer can appreciate the pain of others, that person is “free,” in a terrible and terrifying way, to perpetrate horrific acts.

In fact, the torture that a person lives through that crushes his empathy, can be enough to create a house of mirrors, in which one reproduces his own suffering again, and again, and again, like the work of art by M.C. Escher of a hand drawing a hand, never quite being able to escape the dehumanized recreation of his own destruction."

That comes from a psychoanalysis of Ariel Castro, the monster who held three young women captive in his Cleveland home. I was listening to a podcast about the case today and was struck by how a lot of the analysis of his behavior reminded me of Rusty.

Wow, even his own church wants nothing to do with him, not even making the effort to let him know.

And what's his response? "Yippee! Freedom!" Freedom to do what, exactly?

Oh...
