When they plan for her to stay for a few days it is important that she comes quickly so she takes the airplane, but when she only stays for a few hours she takes the buss that takes almost a half day? I'm sorry but that sounds contradictory to me or am i reading it wrong?

We're trying to line up how Phil snuck away to spend time with her like 2-3 more times, and how it was affordable, that is why I suggested a bus as a possibility. Here, long distance bus is inexpensive but bringing excessive luggage quickly jacks up the price. 1-2 bags tops. A bus trip is perfect for e-relationships to swing into town cheaply, hang out a while or spend a night in a motel then leave. Yeah it takes more TIME than plane and for a shorter stay but that was the first and second time they visited. He hinted at her moving in with him before this last visit (need to keep the house for my gf), and if we're to take it as possibly a true statement then the flight could be a gesture to kind of sway her further towards him. She expressly told him she did not want to be part of his public persona so I'm just trying to wrangle in my mind how the visits went prior.

But i am struggling with the logic that you take the bus for 7-10 hours to see someone for let's say 4-5 hours and then go home again the next morning, just spending nearly an entire day traveling to see someone for a very short while sounds just so illogical to me, especially if she uses a plane when she is going to stay for days!
I doubt that she brought with her a huge load of luggage and left it behind this time, especially if it is unclear if she will move in or not, and airplane have a max weight for each person's total luggage, i doubt that she is some model or similar that needs 5-6 bags of clothes, make up and other beauty products for 3-4 days of stay, so taking 1-2 bags with her on a bus would not be a major problem or cost!

He claim that they met last time in october, when he had time of, if he did she should have stayed longer than a few hours!

He said he wanted to keep the house because he would still be able to see her. I think this chick lives several hours away from him in Washington or Oregon and they were taking the bus to see each other. Luggage is a moot point being that you can pack a week's worth of clothes and toiletries in a single piece of luggage. It would make it also feasible for Phil to sneak away for a 24 hour period to see her from time to time.

I think that Phil leaving The Salt Fort to go visit someone, anyone, is out of the question. He would much rather pay to have them come see him, and there's no way she took the bus. He implied heavily that she flew out this time around in his airline company rant, so it would probably be the same.

I remember that he took three or four days off in the summer, just a few weeks after Pandamonium. I don't think she visited in the summer, though. That'd be like a month and a half after Leanna moved out. But it would explain the change in Phil's behaviour. Why did he suddenly decide to start cleaning the house? Why did he put all the effort into hanging paintings up after years? Why did he insist on getting a new car, instead of used? He was trying to impress someone.

My favorite theory is that it's the lady who paints with her tits, but Occam's Razor tells me it's just a gold digger. Boy is she gonna be upset when she scrapes off that top layer of gold and realizes that it's salt all the way down.

Maybe they skyped prior and Phil counts that as "seeing each other couple of times".

And as far as people riding buses for hours, it's common. That's why Bus and Train transport still exists. I know people that work in another part of the midwest and stay out of town, only to travel back x amount of the month via train to stay with their family. I have met several people who dated online and used bus to come visit. It was random, but you're giving it way too much :autism:.

If she knows who he is then there has to be some ulterior motive going on. I can't imagine someone with common sense would look at everything Phil is and say "that's who I want to be with." Agreed. I've taken a bus to see a girlfriend in a different state before so it is common, and in a lot of ways less expensive than a plane.

What i can't wrap my mind around is why someone would ride the bus for almost 12 hours to see him perhaps 2 hours and then go back home 12 hours, any long distance relationship i know off both sides tries to make it so that they can spend as much time as possible togheter, but then Phil isnt like most normal persons!
But that is if she lived that far away, she could very well be living in Portland about 2-3 hours away or Spokane 4 hours, from which you can very well use a traveling agency in order to travel to Seattle, i feel that traveling from say the San Fransisco area (SF, Sacramento and San Jose) a airplane would be more quicker, but as you said more expensive.
