Erik Kain, a gaming journalist, has been under fire recently on Twitter. He showed neutrality to GamerGate back in 2014 and apparently, he hasn't really changed his position on it. Some twitter users really weren't pleased. So much so that some people still have to sperg over GamerGate despite it being dead. Because Kain doesn't share the same idea as them (it was a pure harassment campaign in their eyes), he's some asshole to them that's "trying to rewrite history".

Worth noting, Erik Kain was never more than a pro-GG leaning neutral, so this level of Autism is especially baffling.

It all seems to have blossomed out of Jake Alley claiming that Erik Kain somehow caused the Alt-Right.

Unless you shit on GG as hard as you can while virtue signaling as loud as possible, they will never let it go.

Earlier this year Tim Soret suffered the same shit when his very stylized and decent looking game was shown off, and then his "pro-GG past" caused an uproar against him.

Dropping GooberGate requires the spergs to leave the corpse alone. They can say all they want how it was harassment but a guy who was neutral towards it making some tweet of it today (last tweet he made was apparently a Bannon quote referenced it in some USA article) is enough to somehow trigger spergs who think he must be rewriting history. The only definite history with that autistic screeching was neckbeards and legbeards flinging shit at each other because some lady sucked off five guys who was then able to cash in on what came after.

I actually thought that Erik Kain was one of the few sane people during the autism holy wars.

It figures that the assholes are trying to drag him down to their autistic hell.

At this point Gamergate isn't just a corpse, it's a bloody pulpy mess that smells like troon tears and neckbeard sweat. Can these people stop dragging others down for "crimes" that most of the time amount to being indifferent to Gamergate. How is being neutral during Goobergate exactly equate to being a full on supporter? The leaps of logic with this shit just confuses me and I have to wonder why these people still care about something that was relevant almost 4 years ago.
