Possibly, but it depends how up its own ass the school is. RISD, for example, is absolutely terrible in regards to financial aid and scholarships. Pratt Institute is fairly okay with giving out scholarships, but has an administration that frequently screws up finances and will fight you over refunds. SCAD is currently embroiled in some sort of drama, because the woman who founded the school is basically exploiting the student body in order to line her pockets.
Basically, the bigger the name, the shittier it's run. I wouldn't be surprised if Rory wasn't on a scholarship; her attitude (and artwork) lines up perfectly with the spoiled rich students whose parents paid tuition out of pocket.

A little off-topic, but SCAD is one of those schools that accepts the GI Bill, so when used in conjunction with the yellow ribbon scholarship and a regular scholarship they offer, you don't really need to pay too much out of pocket, so I didn't think it was that bad, a little more on the accessible side. But it makes sense. Private schools can be like that.

And if Strawberry is cis, well, women don't bulk up like "thicc arms" unless jacked on steroids. Hell, even roided up women don't get lumberjack arms.

I don't want to sound dramatic but my jaw dropped when I saw these designs...They're just so awful. Strawberry is literally just a butchered version of these 2 eyesores. Did you know that you get your torso from your dad and your legs from your mom? It's absurd. Also I guess Strawberry is black but her skin is fucking orange.

Every time I see this Jasper knockoff I get the distinct feeling that she's aware that making the bottom half of her Donut Steel match the top would be creeping into borderline plagiarism territory, but doesn't understand that giving her a stick body only amplifies the flaws.

Also makes me wonder if the only reason she isn't just making Jasper fanart is because her professor vetoed using other people's characters for assignments.

Because she was (possibly still is) popular in the tumblr crowd a few years back. Like, really popular. People wouldn't shut up about how much of a beautiful amazonian stronk womyn she was. Plus she voiced a character in Steven Universe once so everyone collectively wet their pants about that.

I find it funny that everyone loved and idolized the character Minaj voiced in the show, a giant violent monster wanting nothing more than to destroy anything that got in her way, but actively hate the character of Bismuth and cry racism at her portrayal, even though she was a far more human character than the creature Nicki voiced.
