There is a huuuuge difference between a caricature and just plain sucking. Rory draws like she hates the characters and if she doesn't I'll be amazed.

What's funny is, a lot of artists who draw turbo-idealized sexy guys and girls have a database of facial and body features that they apply to everything. Yet in trying to fight that idealism, a lot of Tumblr artists build their own repetitive database of 'body positive' features. Sure, you're not making everyone extremely traditionally pretty, but the real point non-tumblry art critics have when criticizing that stuff is that there's an absolutely endless amount of facial conformations in the real world. Making your own 'non-problematic' stock faces to constantly draw from and mentally copypaste (i.e. EVERYONE IS A FUCKED UP FISH PERSON) misses the point.
