JFC took me several days to read and digest the 40 new pages since I was last here. DAMN.

Russell Greer, a man who didn't hesitate to upload Taylor Swifts agents voicemail to Soundcloud, suddenly exercises restraint on naming a celebrity, let alone providing proof with information blocked.

:optimistic:
The man who proudly uploads C&D orders and then names names is suddenly showing self control? BS

It must be Ellen DeGeneres, because nobody else throws money and attention at worthless causes like she does.
His disdain towards Elleen D is the only reason I'm here, I once saw him post on a news article that she discriminated against him for being disabled, I was like OMG WTF, then looked at his posts, then reddit, then here... the rest is history

Well sure, what’s wrong with you all? A kid who still may believe in Santa, who needs to be driven to 4th grade, who’s favorite food is cereal, who still plays with toys, of course you beat the crap out of them for choosing a laughing face emoji when somebody leaves an amusing article on their Facebook page!! Honestly, you don’t understand, this kid should have gas poured on him and set on fire for a crime like this! I mean, you can’t sue them, so there is nothing left. Come on, peeps, get woke.

Of course, any future employer will agree the kid should be tortured, because none of them have kids. If they do, they know they are just like barking dogs and don’t worship Russ appropriately.

...and the Internet hates Logan Paul. They got it sooo wrong.
He has so much in common with a 10 year old. Celebrity crushed, handwriting, sign making skills, both love cereal, it's uncanny!

Maybe he should cut his gym to 3 days a week and go to a barber the other.

He doesn’t do anything but cardio anyway. I wonder who pays for this gym membership-Mommy?
A. it's just $10 a month, barely a latte or two.
B. He CLEARLY doesnt, after that brain damaging shirtless pic, it's clear he doesnt just skip chest day, he skips arm day, traps, the whole nine yards. Pretty sure he goes in there, stares at some ass while he does 20 minutes on the elliptical like some sort of Barbie maintaining her figure.

Up to date on thread now. Gonna go digging for Instracringe gem pics tomorrow.

And how's that working out for ya?

I don't believe for a minute that Russ is bipolar, based on my own experiences with and observations of individuals with either bipolar or NPD. I'm convinced he's nothing more than a Narcissist.

Narcissists can seem almost "manic-depressive" to those around them. They may be on a "high," puffed up on their own grandiosity and feelings of superiority for days, weeks, or even months--only to crash, retreating into what can look very much like depression. But the high, "manic" phase is simply the result of receiving plenty of what is called "narcissistic supply"--the kind of attention or experiences Ns seek in order to puff up their false sense of self.

When Ns suffer a major setback or failure that punctures their fragile, overinflated egos, they may lash out in rage. But if they are sufficiently humiliated, they may instead withdraw physically from the world (if they can), or at least into a sulking, hostile silence that keeps others at a distance. They're not actually depressed; they're deeply humiliated and waiting for the sting of it to pass, and in the meantime generating a new story about what happened that will allow them to erase their own feelings of humiliation. When they feel they have a firm grip on their new story, they emerge from their depression and set about pushing their new version of events as what really happened. Eventually, they find a new source of narcissistic supply, and the "manic"-seeming phase of ego inflation starts all over again.

Bipolar individuals experience intense self-loathing and feelings of worthlessness in their depressive phases, which Narcissists never do. Bipolar individuals may self-harm in private, or make actual suicide attempts that are meant to succeed, which Narcissists never do (though they may show off a few scratches on their arm, or talk openly of suicide, in order to get the attention they crave). Narcissists very rarely commit suicide, no matter how objectively terrible their circumstances may be, while bipolar individuals frequently do.

And here's one other thing about Narcissists: it always seems as if there's something essential missing from their personalities. Talk to them long enough, and no matter how charming they may be, you can't help but sense there's a inner emptiness. They don't feel fully human, or it's as if they lack souls. The bipolar folks I've known had rich inner, emotional lives, and gave the impression that there was a lot more to them than met the eye. With Ns, you eventually realize there's a lot less to them than meets the eye. And Russell Greer fits with that--there's a hollowness to his persona. There's nothing really there, behind the striving and grasping and craving for recognition.

Even if he had ten lifetimes Russell will never matter. He's an unimportant creep and his only contribution to humanity is unintentional humor of the schadenfreud variety, and as cautionary example of someone no one should ever emulate if they want to live a happy, successful life.

You can have bipolar and a personality disorder at the same time, and being bipolar explains his non-emotional symptoms. Narcissism doesn't explain his sleep disorder. I don't see him bitching about being tired at work all the time, so I'm inferring that he has no problem staying up so late and probably sleeping very little. Narcissism doesn't explain his gaunt face, either. A lot of bipolar people almost completely lose their appetite while in a manic episode. I've heard stories about someone being able to live off of a chocolate bar in a single day (considering said person passed out while going about their day, Russ's case probably isn't as bad).

When diagnosing a bipolar person, they base it and its severity on however many symptoms they have. For bipolar I, it was probably like 5-ish manic symptoms and 3 or 4-ish depressive symptoms. (I don't quite remember exactly and can't be assed to look it up.) You don't need to be suicidal or have immense self-loathing to the point of self harming to be depressed, to boot. There's a huge range when it comes to The Bipolar Experience. Much like other mental illnesses, each case is unique and not completely similar to another.

And the thing is, people really change depending on whatever episode they're having, and the length of the episodes can really vary (I really do think he's rapid cycling, which happens when the person is not properly treated). There are plenty of stories of bipolar people doing risky things, while in a manic state, (gambling, over spending, gratuitous and unsafe sex, quitting their jobs, etc) they would normally not do. That shit is powerful. TBH some of those stories are sad, but if you've been diagnosed and have access to proper treatment options, those mania-induced fuck ups are on you.

But yeah, as a conclusion, I'm thinking Russ is bipolar and also has NPD.

Edit: Oops, I forgot to mention that it's pretty common for depressive episodes being exacerbated by whatever mistakes the person made while in a manic state. Boy, I sure am glad I'm not a psychiatrist. These things seriously overlap one another.

Edit again: I hope I don't sound derisive because that was not my intent. Kinda :powerlevel:, but I have a family member who is unfortunately severely bipolar, but she is just the sweetest, most patient person. It's just that there are shit heads like Russ and Lucas Werner, too.

Yeah I don’t know why this is still being debated. His symptoms are so classic mania and he’s literally been professionally diagnosed.

The problem with his 10-10-10 idea is that he has no idea what will matter in ten days/months/years. He thinks if he makes the right decision now, he’ll be a famous songwriter married to a pop star in ten years...and that will never, ever happen.

That little phrase only works if you have any capability of knowing what matters and having the right goals, which Russ doesn’t.

I also disagree with the bipolar “diagnosis.” I think the dude probably has some attachment disorder that led to narcissism. We don’t really know how long it was between the time his bio mom abandoned him and his adoptive mother got him but certainly, it didn’t happen immediately. Government has to get involved, authorities have to check out adoptive parents, etc. he may have been in bad foster homes during those crucial bonding months. At the very least, his moms abandonment while keeping his sister messed him up.

The reason I think that it is attachment or abandonment and not bipolar is because I don’t believe there is any medication that could make Russ think normally. And bipolar is a fixable brain disease.

A personality disorder isn’t fixable, just possibly controllable with years of therapy and awareness. But my opinion or “diagnosis” is also meaningless as I’ve never met the guy and hope I never do.

Another reason for my opinion is I also had a friend with bipolar who would go on Facebook rants and it looked very different than Russ. It would literally be every five minutes, all night, all day, all night and the posts would degenerate into garbled messes that made sense only to him. He’d also go crazy with gambling, spending money, suddenly going on road trips, importing women from Asia to marry even, or trying to. He did marry a stranger on one of these episodes and bought a dress shop. (He is in a technical field)

Not that the disease is identical in everybody, but Russ has no job and nothing to do. You might see posts at later hours. But he has no life except online, and he doesn’t seem to do any of the things my friend did. So that also makes me think he isn’t bipolar.

In my view, he’s just a selfish, narcissistic mean sex pest with a bad temper, a huge desire to be famous that has never changed, and a stalkerish view on celebrity.

It all depends on the type of adoption. You'd be right if he had lived with a foster family or was adopted through a state agency, but private adoptions have fewer hoops to jump through and the process is much quicker. For example, I was adopted at birth. My folks got connected to my biological parents through a relative of my biological father who knew my folks couldn't have a child of their own. Three days after I was born my folks brought me home. A few months later all the paper work was finalized and I was legally their child. I was still a baby when it happened. I've got a feeling Russhole was privately adopted via a service the LDS Church offers to help parents who want to adopt connect with parents putting their child up for adoption, especially children with special needs and medical issues. I've got three cousins who were adopted that way. While home visits are still required, it isn't as stringent as when the adoption is through a state agency.

Is that because their sole motivation/passion in life is attaining the admiration and envy of others? It certainly fits in his case, what other possible reason could he have for exclusively pursuing pop stars and models instead of regular women? He seems to think he needs a woman who the entire world already venerates as a symbol to spite the world that didn't recognize his greatness.

Sometimes I wonder how his times with hookers go, if he can even get his dick up without trouble. I've heard that sometimes guys like this get so obsessed with everything in their life only being useful to look better than what other people have, they forget how to enjoy it for their own sake, and sex can fall prey to that too.

I mean, what really excites him more: putting his dick in a beautiful woman? Or the knowledge that other people believe he's doing so?

I believe it's the latter. With Rusty, it's all about the image. His personal happiness and validation revolves around what other people know about him. He practically lives for the infamy.

Technically he’s just stupid, probably in the mid-to-high 80s in IQ, not clinically exceptional.
I'd guess he's just on the low end of average at worst more than anything else, with a personality disorder fucking up his logic and judgement. If he was genuinely stupid we'd see something more akin to Amy Slaton, no real ambitions, poor vocabulary, no patience or much of an ability even to write wordy Facebook posts (never mind a short book).

I agree he's a legit narcissist. I dated one once. He was all about outer appearances.
Russ have even let it out in the middle of larger rants more than once that he just wants a celebrity to acknowledge him. That's about status.
I never knew they could have sexual issues.bit my ex did. Then he'd say it was HIS ex's fault, or mine. Always the victim.
Bragging about conquests or attractive girls is a characteristic of narcissism too.
