It's really fucking bizarre that he's played every single game but still doesn't understand the basics.

I say he's got the early stages of Alzheimers.

Things he's already forgotten from other Souls games:
  • How to jump (not that it matters in DeS but still)
  • How to guard break
  • How to parry
  • Soul form/Hollowing
  • Equip load
  • iFrames
And that's just from the tutorial area.

I've seen the actual video, before it was removed from YouTube; it was originally called DSP Tries It: Sexting, then the clip was featured in TIHYDP Silent Hill 4: The Room. Both videos have been removed due to Phil's followers reporting them for sexual content, but one video still remains; an Endure of the TIHYDP.

If by "played" you mean "played until he got stuck 1/3rd the way through, then overlevelled off camera until a toddler could easily beat it". Phil never learned the basics of any of the games, he just grinded (giving him the benefit of the doubt he didn't cheat/download saves etc to do so) until every enemy was trivial. For his Bloodborne playthrough he was nearly level 100 when he beat Shadows of Yharnam who are only the 3rd mandatory boss. Look what happened when he took on a boss he wasn't ludicrously overpowered for when he took on Ludwig.

He's like a child who never learned to ride without stabilisers who fancies himself as a Motocross champion.
