You're right, he won't ever really quit Facebook. He threatens it, but he's always back, usually the next day, if not sooner. He's narcissistic, so he needs attention... the attention he gets on social media is just about the only attention that he gets.

Yep, he needs that narcissistic supply. And keep in mind that while a narcissist wants praise the most they'll accept negative attention, too. Anything to confirm their existence, really. His social interactions are often limited to harassing IG models and hookers, and comments along with reaction emojis on his FB status updates. And like @gREEEEEEEEEr said, he hasn't mentioned anything else about his current roommates, nor his family since the IHOP meeting with his dad (where he was presumably told not to ruin his sister's wedding day). So he won't leave FB, at least not for more than maybe 12 hours, because bad attention is better than none at all. Not to mention he didn't learn his lesson from the whole Taylor Olivia thing, and now Allison and Karlita are taking his idiocy for a spin. He might crash for a bit once he realizes that Katy Perry isn't going to sing his garbage, but he'll be back in no time to reveal his warped version of what really happened.

You need to understand that kiwifarms by far is not the only place that looks at russell, it is done on many places, so it has to be expected that many would start messing with him. The main thing is that these are such obvious trolls that the fact that he falls for them so easily in itself is already a giant view inside his mind: as long as someone plays to his vanity and has a picture of an attractive female he no longer cares about reality.

Anyway....it also struck me in his video how he said Katy had made a representation with the Downs kid. It’s interesting he’d use that phrasing since she supposedly had read his book and knows how he thinks about it. So was it a subtle threat, that’s she’s next if she doesnt do something for him?

It’s interesting-I think this prank could backfire on whoever is doing it. If it comes out that somebody was catfishing a disabled guy and strung him along, today’s media, not knowing Russ, could potentially pick this up as a meanie internet bullying story, and Katy Perry could hear about it and do something nice for him. By the time they figured out Russ was crazy, it’d be too late. That would be interesting because whatever she did, he’d never let it go. But he might also delete everything and I’d miss my favorite cow.

The thing is I don't know if Russell would do so, he might not even realize it is a troll even afterwards. As it has been made clear in the past that certain people he interacted with were trolls, or it had been so clear from their actions, yet he completely blindly carries on, he pushes on and forget about previous trolls, he just stumbles on from one insane situation to another.

EDIT: A thing I forgot to include in my post about the video that I just remembered is that at some point he is talking about the book and he says 'it's not much'. Initially I thought he gained some self-awareness and acknowledged that his book wasn't very good. That optimism was however directly crushed by him continuing saying it wasn't very much because it was based on a true story so he couldn't write anymore, meaning he meant that the book was short when he said that it wasn't much, a phrasing that is really odd to me

Just wanted to mention that Russhole's statement about growing a beard because it's "cold" is a load of shit. It's not very cold here in Salt Lake. It was the high 40's and raining yesterday. I don't believe for a minute that Russ is bipolar, based on my own experiences with and observations of individuals with either bipolar or NPD. I'm convinced he's nothing more than a Narcissist.

When Ns suffer a major setback or failure that punctures their fragile, overinflated egos, they may lash out in rage. They're not actually depressed; they're deeply humiliated and waiting for the sting of it to pass, and in the meantime generating a new story about what happened that will allow them to erase their own feelings of humiliation. When they feel they have a firm grip on their new story, they emerge from their depression and set about pushing their new version of events as what really happened. Eventually, they find a new source of narcissistic supply, and the "manic"-seeming phase of ego inflation starts all over again.

Bipolar individuals experience intense self-loathing and feelings of worthlessness in their depressive phases, which Narcissists never do. Bipolar individuals may self-harm in private, or make actual suicide attempts that are meant to succeed, which Narcissists never do (though they may show off a few scratches on their arm, or talk openly of suicide, in order to get the attention they crave). Narcissists very rarely commit suicide, no matter how objectively terrible their circumstances may be, while bipolar individuals frequently do.

And here's one other thing about Narcissists: it always seems as if there's something essential missing from their personalities. Talk to them long enough, and no matter how charming they may be, you can't help but sense there's a inner emptiness. They don't feel fully human, or it's as if they lack souls. The bipolar folks I've known had rich inner, emotional lives, and gave the impression that there was a lot more to them than met the eye. With Ns, you eventually realize there's a lot less to them than meets the eye. And Russell Greer fits with that--there's a hollowness to his persona. There's nothing really there, behind the striving and grasping and craving for recognition.

I did happen to work with a lot of people suffering from diagnosed mental health issues and suspected NPD, and like your comparison with people with bipolar disorder, neither does he seem to me fit with people who only suffered from NPD. Especially the celebrity fixation, which was relatively common with people in MH, but not with people with NPD. Even if NPDs had legitimate brushes with celebrity (NFL tryout, opening for a big band), it was just a one-time story, not a part of their personality or daily life. Twisting naratives, avoiding responsibility for every stupid thing and making everything about themselves were definately things they shared.

His online persona does suggest to me many other narcissistic tendencies as well, like you outlined, but it doesn't cover certain things, especially in his Ariana Grande episodes. Russ seeing negative emotions in the photograph of him and Ariana, that didn't even seem, to me, to be there at all wouldn't come from narcisssism. His tendency of seeing himself as being a influence in the celebrity world, such as thinking hé's a big threat to TS or that he could have helped prevent the attacks at Ariana's concert are far removed from typical narcissist grandiosity, which is a self-serving exageration of real-life, it does not typically come from nowhere. His rating himself as a nine while putting little effort into his appearence is pretty far from how the narcissist's way of doing things; narcissists tend to ignore or downplay weakness and in general put extra effort into their appearance as a rule, including exercising more (ignoring how it makes them look at the time) and on average are more attractive as a result. Russ on the other hand, looks to put little effort into his appearence, not keeping his hair kempt, wrinkled, cloths, etc. And the only thing he seems to me to care about with exercising is how he looks at the gym, he doesn't seem to bother building his muscles or anything, whereas he does take gym selfies.

In fact, to me, the areas of his appearance he can control are some of the stronger arguments against (just) NPD for him. NPDs are actually more successful than average at gaging other's opinions and impressing them in the short term, normies are the exceptional ones to them in regard to impressing/attracting those they actually care about, such as potential dates, bosses, and clients. A classic narcissist would know without even thinking about it that a cheap suit wouldn't impress a multimillionaire. It's true that narcissists sometimes think they're so good they won't bother with people they don't care about, but to reiterate, they actually put in more effort into (and are more successful) impressing people who are useful to them, than anyone else, so what's his excuse with AG? It's not an IQ thing, I know first hand that plenty of fashionplates are dumb as a rock; outside of places like LA you just have to imitate the trend setters.

We have speculated at length as to whether Russell actually did get caught with a firearm in his bag, following the "kill list" incident.

He told @NipplelessWoman he did, which is the only confirmation we've had (even though Russell could have been lying to her). Before, it was just a rumor based on one internet comment.

Kiwis familiar with gun culture in rural/small town parts of the American West have made arguments for why having a firearm in his possession wouldn't be completely out of line, and not an indicator that he was going to shoot fellow students. In effect, they came to his defense against his being a potential shooter.

Russell himself has told at least two different stories about the "kill list" incident. In one, he claimed that he merely wrote a list of names on the bathroom wall, and that another student wrote that those people should be killed. Now his story is that he can't be held responsible for it because he was depressd.

Nowhere in this thread has anyone definitively stated that his intent was to shoot up the school; statements to that effect have been made in obvious jest, bu I don't think anybody here actually believes that, or if they do, they're certainly not pushing the idea.

Russell, if you're reading here, I challenge you to find, in this thread, evidence that proves your assertion that we claim you "tried shooting up a school," and that it was said in all seriousness, as a fact. No, mockery and idle speculation don't count; I'm talking evidence that would actually stand up in a court of law.

To make your job easier, however, I'll let you in on a secret (that's totally not a secret, except to a complete bamboon such as yourself): there isn't any.

There is, however, plenty of evidence of what a shameless and chronic liar you are, and how you change your stories about yourself all the time in order to get the response you want.
