“It has helped me come to terms with this terrible movie!”
Are you serious?! Dude, it’s...a...movie. He’s treating it like the movie killed his family or bombed an orphanage or something like that.
It reminds me of this one fanboy I encountered who is completely completely unhinged. He kept repeating this some story that if his brother were born today, he would have badgered his parents to name him "Steve" or "Peter" like it actually. Meant. A. Damn. Thing. This guy also hates the Green Lantern titles because his boy, John Stewart, was not headlining either of them and really hates Hal Jordan. Same thing with The Flash because Barry Allen's back and Wally West got demoted to Titans. He pretty much hates anything that is not the DC Animated Universe and went on lengthy tirades against the DCEU. Including unsubstantiated conspiracy theories about WB canning Zach Snyder.
Unsurprisingly, he is a complete brand whore like Bob and offers nothing but praise for the MCU and Star Wars. I think BvS "broke" him the same way Amazing Spider-Man 2 "broke" Bob. Far be it from me to defend WB's screw-ups, most people can walk away from a bad film and let it go because it really doesn't effect their lives like the death of a loved one. People like Bob and the unnamed fanboy are so thoroughly unstable, they act like their "idealized" version of a fictional character is someone that actually exists in the real world.
Fuck. Is there any evidence that Bob may have full-blown psychosis?
