How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

Captain Marvel can be cool, if they explore the Kree vs Skrull war since her powers came from a incident involving a Kree scientist. But they most likely won't do it. So you might be right in the money here.

Marvel Studios have cranked up the hype machine to overdrive for both Black Panther and Captain Marvel, which immediately get a knee-jerk skeptical reaction from me while more voracious consumers like Bob eat it up without a second thought. Critics like Bob are trying to make it look like BP will be a billion-dollar worldwide mega hit; while I expect the film to do well domestically, I expect it to underperform in Asian markets like China because Disney had to downplay Finn in their marketing of The Force Awakens across the Pacific.

As for Captain Marvel. Marvel Comics has aggressively pushed the Carol Danvers as a major player in the Marvel Universe despite the multiple cancellations, and Marvel Studios has likewise positioned the character the same way since they cast Brie Larson in the role. Whenever I think about the movie I get the distinct feeling that the studio is marketing the film to people like Bob, who care more about virtue-signalling than storytelling. I remember a link I found on Facebook where Larson said that, "Captain Marvel is more relevant than ever," in the headline. While Marvel has had many strong female characters, they never had one as iconic as DC's Wonder Woman. Much of it feels like Disney telling me that Carol Danvers is on the same level as Wonder Woman when she is not and the niche she is supposed to occupy is taken by stronger properties.

Not that Bob cares, because he is going to sperge about how awesome the film is because of his narrow ideological view.

I'm curious to how Aquaman will do in the foreign market and if it outperforms in China (way over Black Panther), what will be Bob's reaction.

God, why can't we kill the working class by feeding them to the Africans? That'd help make the world more diverse which will raise the level of intelligence on this planet by at least a 3.

Why not feed them Bob? Not only would it be more efficient, they'd never come back for seconds.

I can't possibly improve on the following description by S. Clarke Hulse:

Titus Andronicus is a play with "14 killings, 9 of them on stage, 6 severed members, 1 rape (or 2 or 3, depending on how you count), 1 live burial, 1 case of insanity and 1 of cannibalism--an average of 5.2 atrocities per act, or one for every 97 lines." Reviewer Mike Gene Wallace adds, "This is a great play. We're talking fourteen dead bodies, kung-fu, sword-fu, spear-fu, dagger-fu, arrow-fu, pie-fu, animal screams on the soundtrack, heads roll, hands roll, tongues roll, nine and a half quarts of blood, and a record-breaking 94 on the vomit meter."
This is tame in the post-Sarah Kane age.

If America does this and something horrible happens, the blood's on your hands.

Why don't you haul your ass to China and see how you like it there?

How are borders "increasingly obsolete" in any sense? I know he wants a global government but one does not exist so how exactly are laws going to be enforced and how will this not result in people fighting over territory regardless even if we don't legally acknowledge the lines for god knows what reason?

Magic friendo. When we have a pee o'sea woman as World Leader, her aura will somehow influence the world. Petty squabbles like territories and resources will be things of the past, and the able-minded will concentrate on more worthy matters, like capeshit movies and Mario games.

Thank god you didn't say "WoC". That phrase always makes me think of woks.

They really haven’t been marketing Captain Marvel all that much, aside from the concept art I showed, that it’ll take place in the 80s, and that the Skrull will be the villains, we don’t know much about the film itself. While we’ve been getting a whole lot more news on Black Panther (more so because it’s right around the corner) and Infinity War (which has been built up for six years now).
Though it is being directed by two people, Anna Bodensee and Ryan Fleck, who have worked together on a lot of films, most being hits, some sub-par at best. So I feel CM will be a good movie, but Bob’ll mindlessly Paris it for all the wrong reasons.

Gee, this latest Trump faux pas is so offensive it could almost be a Lyndon Johnson quote.

So what's grosser: Trump, or Bob proudly shilling for a country that actually runs concentration camps (they're called laogai)?

What role is Bob hoping to fulfill in a Chinese-dominated world, anyway? Is he planning to strip down to his shorts, paint himself gold, and be a living Buddha statue? He's gonna need to work on his joviality if so.

He believes the Chinese government will actually respect & pay for his career of making videos about children's toys or superhero movies. Working class model citizen, that Bob. Symbol of working class.

Is it really "open borders" when you're also suggesting an all powerful one world government run everything? It's less "no borders" and more "everything belongs to me".
Bob's "philosophy" is fundamentally contradictory and insane. He derides the "oppression" of modern days while promoting a quasi-facistic vision of the future. Bob is an idiot.

At this point, you might as well use his name. Don't do this pussy Voldemort shit.

Does he still not get that China is a racist, nationalist state? It's sort of amazing that someone so arrogant can also be so stupid.
I have a friend who went to China five years ago. He was slightly overweight (not even half Bob's size) and didn't have a drop of melanin in his skin. Not only did people make fun of him for being a fat fuck (A 3XL t shirt in China is roughly the size of an American medium), they followed him around in the stores because they thought he'd steal shit.

Needless to say, seeing Bob function in China would be highly entertaining.
