Reminds of something a friend said about Harmon in that he's basically a Jerry desperately trying to convince everyone that he's actually a Rick.

Except in Harmon's case even a character like Jerry who is pretty much designed to be hated somehow comes out looking better.

The problem I have with that statement is that it implies Harmon doesn't deserve all the shit he receives.

Is it just me or are people like Dan and Louis C.K. people we would immediately suspect of being creepy sex perverts based on appearances if they weren't famous?

EDIT: This also goes for the not-yet-accused Dan Schneider.

Eh thats a big bag of worms. Him and Luis C K stand out in my book cause they dont fall to the floor prostrating themselves, they both gave a explanation of what they were thinking at the time, why they view it as wrong now, and address the "victim" In a way that they own their actions.

Better than "I am gonna live my life as a gay man" kinda

Everything I've seen of Harmon shows he has about 0 charisma, and once you know his formula and schtick his work is predictable and average at best, so what the hell is it about him that has even the people he treats like garbage defending him when way more influential people in his industry have been strung up for less?

Because they need the jobs. To climb the ladder. To be the king/queen of writing crap. And money. Lots and lots of money.
