But those beans are pure autism. It doesn't take much looking to see that the whole "operation" is completely fucktarded and Eli is a harmless idiot, especially if he's taking this serious and not just fucking with Jace for a free Xbone. The Israelis will want to get him off their hands and make him someone else's problem as quickly as possible. They have real problems to deal with right now. Worst case they'll take him into a fairly comfortable custody and hold him until they have time to deal with dumbshit American kids. More likely they'll drop his ass off at the U.S. consulate and wash their hands of the whole affair.

Now if Eli is fucktarded enough to actually fall afoul of Hamas… well that's a different matter entirely. But seeing as he's been wandering the same dozen blocks of Tel Aviv it's highly unlikely.

It's still possible to fly out of Israel. I believe it's only U.S. flights (and some other countries) into and out of Ben Gurion Airport that are restricted (and that restriction may already be lifted). Eli could get out right now if he stumps up the islams for a bus ticket or commuter flight down to Ovda or possibly up to Haifa. He'd have to change flights in Europe, and it wouldn't be cheap, but he could get out. He's not trapped by anything but his and Jace's stupidity.

Seriously though, he's fucking far gone in this one. He's rapidly approaching Jace levels of paranoia and delusion. It takes a special kind of person to connect a shitload of unconnected things and make a conspiracy out of them. The logic he's using here is making my fucking head spin. I wouldn't be surprised if Eli was schizophrenic or something, or just came to this conclusion while drunk/high.

We've already established he's staying in a really cheap hostel though, I fail to see how it's worth it. I could see if he was staying with relatives, but we've already gone over the fact that he has no relatives in Israel. I just think that even Eli would be smart enough to realize that a $500 console isn't worth $2000 in airfare and two weeks staying in a shitty low-rent hostel in the middle of a warzone. ESPECIALLY because as we've already established, Eli, Tyce, and Jace are making mad bank with their new "EASY MONEY" scheme, enough for Jace to buy a $400 monitor like it was nothing; Eli could have easily just waited a week and bought his own XBox with their blood money. He's clearly not just in it for the XBox here.

My money's on the idea that Eli is basically doing a small-scale version of Jack Stryker here; he's clearly enjoying his new "#SECRETAGENTMAN" persona. Clearly he's not nearly as deluisional or deep in the make-believe roleplay as Jace is, by virtue of the fact that he hasn't been arrested for attacking a random Muslim yelling that he's a demon lord.

Think about it. He's in a foreign country (foreign things are scary to him, because he's a pleb; see the "PINK FUCKIN FAGGOT BUILDING" video for where he says "there's all this like, weird shit here") Worse, he's completely isolated from any normalizing influence to tell him "hey, fucking chill, they aren't out to get you".

So, the only social interaction he gets is from occasionally finding an English-speaking person and asking them where Tupac is... which isn't exactly a positive influence on his mental health. The only other social interaction he gets is from illiterate 13-year-olds on Runescape, listening to weens feed him bullshit on Twitter, and constantly having Jace on his shoulder giving him paranoid "INTEL" like an autistic version of Colonel Campbell.

Add to this the fact that he believes he's supposed to be "incogneato" (i.e. he thinks people are watching him) and what you have is the perfect storm of psychological circumstances that would make even a sane person act like a paranoid schizophrenic. He's jumping at shadows, everything and anything he doesn't understand is scary to him and he legitimately believes most of the people there are Muslims and therefore trying to kill him.

We don't really know much about him yet so it's easy to jump to conclusions but I still doubt he'd go through all that trouble for an XBox he could have easily acquired otherwise. I think it's far more likely that circumstances are slowly but surely turning him into a mini-Jace, at least in terms of the delusions and paranoia.
