Phil is glad he's not playing Monster Hunter World. He discusses his initial plan to play with TolomeoR and Cryaotic. "It seems like a lot of time that I want to commit with other people, it never works out."
He talks about the podcast he was scheduled to do, but got "sick" and never did.
Phil is nervous as hell. He whines about health insurance. Phil implies he paid $1,500 for his gout examination.

I just think as some have brought up in this thread , Phil would never be able to play Monster Hunter World really well and he kinda knew it. That is why he didn't do the co-play.

Lol he cancelled Dissidia after insisting on buying it then hating the demo.

At least with Monster Hunter he played the beta, realized he was ass, and said he wouldn't play it.

And the game really would absolutely wreck his shit. Though he could have just played coop with fans/other streamers/etc to get past everything.

Edit: Hopefully we get a ufc 3 rage quit the way we did 2.

Celestial Goose's Twitter feed is worth checking out. He's really been busy working overtime white-knighting for Phil. He also gets plenty of ridicule for doing so, and has a frequent habit of suddenly deleting everything, so screenshot and archive on sight!

Personally, I'd like to know more about Goose. He has some pretty entertaining spergouts.

There is no reasoning with Goose. He tries to justify every lie Phil spouts. Even when you show him proof he still makes shit up. That guy is a lost cause.

That game's demo or beta was playable without buying the game. He buys it, tries out the beta, hates it, doesnt play retail version... money throw into the furnace... #dsplogic

You think with the way he buys games he'd do what most streamers do and just play a few days to see the game and get some views. Hell, he could add them to the off day rotation til they stop getting looks. Or do a review video for his channel at the end of the week.

But Phil has that special brand of autism where he can't change the way he does things. And that means he has to complete the game in full for his youtube series even if everyone knows nobody watches his videos.

Just one more way that business degree shoots him in the foot I guess.


Edit: A quick check puts Monster Hunter at #1 streaming on Twitch right now and PUBG at #3. Dragonball FighterZ is at a respectable #13.

The difference in total viewers between Monster Hunter (75k worldwide) and PUBG (90K worldwide) compared to Z (9k worldwide) would be eye opening for a trend chasing streamer, you'd think.

One of the things I dislike the most about DSP is how hard he tries to be the AVGN. All his commentary ´Shitty dicks!´ and what not is him trying to be the AVGN. Except that that humor doesn´t work without a script(Some would argue that it doesn´t even work for the AVGN). It´s like the Irate Gamer, he saw something that worked but didn´t understand why it worked and thought he could do the same.

Meanwhile, the AVGN has realized that AVGN is better off in small quantities, thus not uploading episodes frequently, and something he made a point of in the AVGN Megaman episode.

The Irate Gamer has... turned into a shill that showcases scams or chinese products before devolving into a kids´ puppet show.

And DSP is... exactly the same as he was 10 years ago.

DSP got banned for some reason on the Shoryuken forums (which is well known). What seems to be less known is that he had another username he started using afterwards which has some quality posts:

I wonder if seven-years-ago DSP would have made those same posts if he saw his future was not making money by playing games for youtube, but making it by begging incessantly for it while (allegedly) running on fumes financially

I just LOVE seeing this, it shows how an interaction between a normal human being and DSP would go like if both of them are on equal grounds with no threads of getting banned by the pigroach; just DSP getting shat on everywhere by everyone.

It's mindblowing that this guy ever had friends to begin with.
