The whole thing with Project 7 ending was only partly because Phil deluded himself into thinking everyone didn't want to earn a single penny from their hard work. The John and Howard podcast goes into a lot more detail. One of the main reasons was that Andre was going to become a father, and decided that real life shit was more important than making videos for Phil.

But, of course, Phil isn't aware of this. Because RespectThePact were merely tools for him to use, to pump out videos and rake in cash. He never cared about their personal lives, or even considered how the world doesn't revolve around him.

I guarantee if someone were to tell Phil this information about Andre becoming a father, he'd try and dodge the issue and press the point that it was purely about the money (which is still fair enough, considering John and Howard revealed that RespectThePact never said they only wanted "publicity/plugs"), or he'd call whoever tells him a liar/troll.

A comment on that YT video points out that Phil never actually refutes that he kept all the money. PHIL even goes on to say that, aside from repeated attempts to contact him, nothing in the video is false.

He claims to be the one with damning evidence, in the form of Paypal receipts and emails (Phil thinks emails are legally binding). But won't release them, because he doesn't want to be "a dick." wow If you're innocent, then why the hell not release your evidence, you idiot? Does he understand the degree to which people hate him over this?

Also, I think @tripmix has a point. The end result of R&H not being specific about everything upfront is that Phil is able to wriggle away, with halfway plausible deniability. Frankly, I've never really earnestly took their side, so much as I knew the other party's habit of lying and manipulating. If past is prologue... "another case of me being hahnest and everybody else being shady and underhanded" = "I was an oblivious fuck and it cost me everything."

That is the IG now. He does crappy toy reviews for kids. HE also has a spin off channel in which he ACTUALLY plays with toys.

So, in a way, maybe, maaaaaaaaaybeeeeeeeee DSP isn't as bad off as it could've been. But what's worse, doing shitty videos playing with toys for children.... or begging for money every day?

I don't see too much different between reviewing toys and reviewing computer parts on YouTube. I think that that is much more respectable than "... sigh. What is up everybody? It's the same duality he has with kiwi farms, he claims not to care about it and ignores all mentions whilst at the same time being very aware of certain users and addressing their posts in round about ways.

The elephant in the R&H story is that Phil kept the money for himself, and bought himself a BMW. Even when Rambo and Howard never asked for money, at least he could have the courtesy to give them something anyways. But he demonizes Howard and Rambo instead and claims all they wanted is exposure to their channels.

The whole story he tells is fishy - first of all he thinks his youtube channel is so big that your channel being mentioned on it is a huge thing and will grant you millions of views, then he claims everybody but him who worked on Project 7 refused to take any money.

It's sad how he treats people who were supposed to be his real life friends, especially John Rambo who comes across as a likeable person (at least next to Phil).

Pretty sure you get a certificate when you are valedictorian. I’m positive there are ways to prove someone received this honor. He just has no proof because it didn’t happen. Just find his high school and graduating year and backtrace. It can’t be that hard to do.
