Like you said, he started positive and devolved from there. Phil will always bitch no matter how hard he tries.

In case anyone missed it, @EddyB43 posted up his stats here, including tips. The tips were around $2200, so my previous arbitrary estimate happened to end up somewhat close. Eddyb put the total from Twitch at $7600. Add the $1100 or so from Patreon, and he got about $8700 in January, just from Twitch.

Phil had 1.91M views on Youtube (from DSPgaming only), and he noted that he got ~$5 from 10k views on his dumbass shower video, which would be $2 CPM. So putting a range on it for dspgaming, which has more demonetized stuff, of $0.50-$2, Phil could have gotten anywhere from $1000-$4000 from youtube. I'm inclined to guesstimate it at $1000-$2000. Regardless, his minimum is ~$9700 or so and could range up to $11000. So when he starts talking about "financial troubles", he can go fuck himself, basically.

Oh man, that's a bummer about Monster Hunter. That game would give some quality fucking salt. I was pretty edgy after getting bullshitted out of a 15 minute fight. After a bad dodge.

Fights can go so much longer, and I've pulled my ass out of some really close calls after 30 minute fights. And I've been playing it since the PSP games. Can you imagine him losing one of those? The game's all about heavily telegraphed bullshit. The kind of thing he'd scream beginner's trap on. I'm so sad now.

As true as that is, DSP could easily just let his fans do all the work and have them join the hunt while he hung back, reacting like a potato. It would really depend on how skilled his fans were of carrying dead weight.

Plus, knowing DSP, he wouldn't even attempt High Rank where the game does get difficult. He would claim that he saw credits and so the story is over.
 
Watching phil shit on the netcode while playing story mode in dbfz was just cringe...

now hes singing during the credits...
 
I love how Phil thinks he should never lose against the cpu.

If he gets hit, it read his inputs.

Even if he just hammered the same buttons over and over.
