this Chair Saga part 2 is great so far

"Professional" game chair company.

Yeah, speaking of, he busted out the tripod for this one, which is the first time in a while I believe

Why? No no, I mean, why did you forced me to watch this disgusting snort-festival which is under the cover of food tasting?
Even with his camera so far away you can clearly hear him chew and clicking with his tongue. How is this possible?!
I watched two or three videos with this theme from other people. They are able to edit this out. They won't even insert clips where their camera angle is wrong because they check their angle before filming. Phil can't do this because then he wouldn't be REAL. It's like sitting right next to him and experience his eating, okay? We need 4 minutes (of 8 mins) of senseless talk and camera fixing for cheap fries before he even takes a bite.
They only redeeming detail of this whole mess is: He could be just boring (which is his standart) but he's just plain bad at it. So bad you can talk about it for hours.

For the tripod: You can bet his new girlfriend will hold the camera. Because shaky-cams are so real. And dizziness-inducing.
I honestly prefered his tripod instead of the shaky holding when he started the video.

EDIT: Oh lordy

"Dragon Ball Fighter Z is indefensible and you're fucking stupid"
-Business Class Internet Phil

I'm not surprised. Phil needs to play games which give him more money; except Monster Hunter. This guy is unable to play the easiest games or have fun with it. A setback in games can be frustrating but Phil nearly never graps the possibility he could just take his loss with a joke. Because every single loss is an attack against him as a person, right?

Imagine there is a person who says: "Phil likes to play videogames" and somehow you have all time in the world to watch all of his khantent. Would you agree to the person's statement? I would rather say: "Phil hates videogames and plays them for financial benefits only". Because this is the only conclusion that makes sense. I'm sure he started with a different attitude years ago, but now he sits in this hole he can't escape from. I'm sure he knows pretty well that he can't go back to a "real job" (it's too late) and know he must create this kingdom of infinite ego where only his state of mind is the truth. So Phil is always right, no matter what. And everyone else is an idiot; just because Phil says so.
His ego is just pure self protection against reality and he tries his best to hammer his reality in every viewer's brain because it's important for him to make a lot of money with the only last thing he is capable of. And this is just disgusting.

It could be this. Or Phil is just a big pile of poop to begin with. Why not both.

Wow, he straight up deleted it after it dropped a match? What a fucking bitch. I guarantee you he was looking for an excuse to drop the game because he was getting his ass whooped.

Yes, the game does drop connections but it's not that common. It seems to happen more in Ring Matches where you can play friends.

Be fair, he said he had more dropped connections that day than actual finished matches (but take that with a bag of salt because it's Phil who always makes himself believe insane bullshit to convince himself that he's right). Of course since most players are having no problems and this seems to be a persistent problem for EVERY game he plays, maybe Phil should - hear me out - actually test if his Internet connection can handle streaming and online play.

I'm having a hard time believing Phil actually knows how good his Internet is, I get the feeling he's exactly the type that would buy a gold-plated HDMI cable because he was told that gold makes the digital signal work better (magic beans for $500 extra).

Call me coo-coo in the noggin, but I might just believe Phil enjoys the constant bitching and whining because he feels like his opinion matters. Any time he moans and everyone reacts, he feels good about it.

Because narcissism. Actual fucking narcissism.

Already coming out that you can find the same chair on Amazon for $80. So this company buys that chair and inflates the price to make a quick buck. Sounds like they found their perfect spokesperson, until they slight him in a minor way (or no way at all) and he throws them under the bus like everyone else.

Tweets are now protected.

This video, wow, just wow.

The amount of boredom his PUBG streams have is amazing, not only that, he knows he sucks at the game but needs to play it but that means he has to hide for 90% and hope to survive or grab a vehicle and kill people that way. It has been a long time since i've seen him THAT bored at a game without ragequitting it.

This isn't even good as background noise, it's just a guy whining occasionally about the game while nothing happens. How can people think this is worth any penne is beyond me.

WTF? It looks like Phil is actually almost crying after getting killed at 23:20 because he can't use his 'strategy' of using a car as a tank and running people over for kills after spending the whole match hiding and running away from firefights. Something about seeing an insane retard's delusions crash and burn, quite literally in this case, in a public way they can't ignore and then go one a shouted disparaging rant about everyone but themselves and their lack of ability just makes me laugh in disbelief. Watching a narcissist throw a huge shit-fit instead of considering behaving with even an ounce of humility, grace, or dignity is one of my favorite kinds of suffering to sup on

I'm not really that suprised honestly about them protecting their tweets I mean they get suddenly called out for being a reseller and marks up the chairs for about 300% from their orignal price.

And it seems Phil is the only "big name" streamer they have as someone sponsored from what I can find.

Not SpawnSeats, the one who protected their tweets was just some random twitter-user someone mentioned who was commenting in stuff.

I'd guess they noticed they became famous and decided to put their head down before the autism brigade arrived.

It really doesn't help them that Alibaba is heavily infested with scammers to add to the bad press.

Fair enough although gonna have to laugh my way to the bank on this entire shitfest Phil has gotten himself tangeld into with this new sponsor already.

Got my own private account blocked by him finally.

Is known how this company got wind of Phil's need to own a new chair, right after he got refused from OPseat? Can't be a coincidence.
Do they follow Phil? Are they detractors? Are they the same company under another name?

The tweet didn't have much info, just a link to Amazon selling a "similar" chair for $50.

Can't wait for tomorrow when Phil gives the speech about "the detractors" slandering his new sponsor for reselling chairs. Then down the road when they drop him or he drops them he will bitch about the chair being a piece of shit that fucked up his back and that is why he never used it, thus burning another bridge and giving the finger to any fan who actually bought the damn thing.

Was it really that hard to clean the area before you took your first promo shot for the chair? What happened to that business degree that you had, Phil?
I love the modem/router smack dab in the center of his desk. Why don't you put that on the floor and free up your desktop, Mr. Street-Smarts?

That's exactly what Opseat was doing (except they added their logo)

All of these chair companies just bulk buy chairs from China. It's not really surprising.

I did a breakdown of their business model when Opseat saga happened:
Yeah I'm not sure how people don't follow the "gaming chair" business model.

Step 1:
Go to China and find a manufacturer of "gaming chairs" (via alibaba.com)
upload_2018-1-23_16-8-23-png.363645

Step 1a:
Get your chinaman to fill up a shipping container with your chairs:
upload_2018-1-23_16-31-10-png.363666

https://www.icontainers.com/ship-container/china/

Step 2:
Sign for an order of 100+ chairs with some customization added such as your brand name:

upload_2018-1-23_16-10-14-png.363649

upload_2018-1-23_16-12-14-png.363652
upload_2018-1-23_16-13-45-png.363653

Step 3:
Make a fancy website with your branding and take the chairs that cost $50-100 and mark them up to an unrealistic price of $2-500

upload_2018-1-23_16-18-25-png.363656
upload_2018-1-23_16-19-16-png.363657

Step 4:
Instead of paying for actual advertising just go find a bunch of semi-popular YouTubers, offer them a free chair and a discount code:

upload_2018-1-23_16-20-23-png.363659

upload_2018-1-23_16-21-46-png.363660

upload_2018-1-23_16-22-34-png.363662

upload_2018-1-23_16-23-23-png.363663

Step 5:
Wait for YouTubers to receive their free chairs and spam up their timelines with stupid chair reviews giving you a massive amount of exposure for far less cost than any other form of advertising:
upload_2018-1-23_16-24-40-png.363664

Step 6:
Profit

Geoff Mendicino aka Geoff The Hero aka DarksydeGeoff. He's a career troll, he started off with some FreezeCrackerFun shit, and got popular when spammed DSP videos with a link to his video about DSP dying and now he has taken over. He does mainly Fighting Game trolling videos now, and gets mad because people don't watch his streams when he's not playing fighting games.
He was a QA tester for Iron Galaxy. Remember how bad Batman: Arkham Knight was on PC when it released? That was him.
He will troll Phil, look down upon people who also troll him because they don't do it correctly, then give Phil money "ironically". He's kinda bipolar and definitely judgmental. Honestly could have a LahlCow thread about him too.

ohhh boy.... You're gonna enjoy this post my friend.

Actually Geoff The Hero was moderately famous before the famous you're talking about.

Geoff was a part of the "Gamelife" which was a "major" YouTube channel which started around the time YouTube first started getting very popular. So he pretty much became famous by the exact same way DSP did.

They were old-world famous in that companies like MTV/Viacom offered them an entire TV show, they got flown out to game lauinches and events etc.

Gamelife video featuring Geoff:

Guru Larry vid covers the rise and fall of "Gamelife" (Geoff's section starts at about 10 minutes in) BONUS: it has darksydephil mouthing off at Machinima!

(Even Guru Larry said they had autism pretty flatly)

EDIT:

Oh yeah, I'm rewatching it now, and the main guy behind Gamelife (Andrew Rosenblum) had an argument with his GF and sent a death threat and got arrested which lead to the whole "gamelife" shit falling apart pretty quickly:
