It's the GUI of a network mapping tool that's used to scan for available hosts, services, and other information on a network given an IP. It's not a hacking tool per se but we recently had some skids in another thread posting pics up of them running zenmap to try to show how l33t they are.

Probably a lot of them need that. There was a NAMBLA (I think) documentary where a pedo went up to a group of kids and talked with them, then insisted to the camera that the kids were coming onto him.

I would say its not a honeypot. I'd imagine that people writing words on a forum must be infinitely more difficult to prosecute than illegal photos/videos changing hands.
If it is a honeypot, then I'd say its probably the effort of a vigilante to try and build a database or dox people by gaining their confidence.

I've done a few informative posts about pedos on the other thread that got infected and derailed.
These posts are kind of fascinating for anyone that researches deviant human behavior. Some of them read "Honeypot" or "obvious bait" but some of the delusional thinking is pretty spot on for pedophiles. Most people think of pedos as being the ones who rape a random child and it's easy to see why they're terrible people.
But then you see this other side of pedophiles. People who honestly, truly believe they are great fathers/uncles/etc and celebrate it. The story about having the kid touch him and her obviously thinking it's a funny game. It starts out that way, most kids do weird shit with their genitals but it's not sexual. But what this person is describing is "grooming". It starts out with just the "it's a game" and ends up with rape after the pedophile gets more comfortable and braver.
Oh, and want to know something fucked up? Most of them have an age range preference as you can see by some of these profiles. Once their original victim(s) age out of this range, many start the cycle again. Find a vulnerable woman with little kids, "accidentally" get a woman pregnant who has no support system, take advantage of your previous victim's mindset to abuse your grandchildren, etc. They don't see their victims as independent humans. They're walking sex toys to project their depraved fantasies onto. That's why they think they'll never get caught and why they can be so stupid and brazen. Because they live in a complete fantasy land.

It just goes to show how off-base the whole "stranger danger" concept of a skeevy dude in a van with FREE CANDY drawn on the side really is. All of the screengrabs show people who aren't stupid enough to try to just grab a random kid off the sidewalk; they're either taking their time to get a kid's trust, or they're in a position where they have access to a family member, both of which would be far harder to catch. If I had any children, this would be freaking me the hell out.

afaik there's no crime in accessing text. Also the legality of a website like this is very questionable, as much as people may dislike it or hate the people behind it, at the end of the day its just words on a screen arranged in a particular way.
People hate Kiwifarms, people hate the anarchist's cookbook, there are plenty of things people find distasteful.
Where exactly the guillotine falls when it comes to something like the site this thread is about is an interesting question.

That is an extremely common delusion amongst pedophiles. They interpret children's normal behavior as flirting. Like there was one guy who insisted a boy wanted to have sex with him because he kept grabbing his crotch. When it was pointed out the kid probably needed to go to the bathroom, he was incredulous and insisted it was a come on. Another guy was absolutely flabbergasted to be told that most kids don't want to have sex with adults. They can't fathom that they're in the wrong.
Having bad thoughts is not a crime nor should it be. Writing those bad thoughts down should not be a crime in itself, but having the authorities keep an eye on them is certainly a good idea. Actually illegal actions should, of course, be punished. Pedos are always trying to push the envelope of legality. I remember back in the 2000s, there was a glut of "child modeling" sites. Since the kids were clothed (sort of), the pedos were crowing how it was legal and the feds couldn't touch them. The feds took that as a challenge and arrested several people running those sites. The charges stuck because it was ruled that nudity is not required for something to be pornography, it simply must be presented in a sexual manner designed to arouse. I really wish they'd crack down on those child beauty pageants because those are a magnet for child molesters. They're just an outlet for narcissistic mothers to live through their kids.
Most sex crimes are done by someone known to the victim. This is true of both children and adults. While attacks by strangers do happen, the perp is usually someone in the social circle of the victim.

Yeah I agree. I personally find pedophiles distasteful, but if they have that "problem" and actually want to seek help for it, the world leaves them few options but to stick their head in an oven and gas themselves.
I'm really not a fan of outlawing simple text/writing about it because if someone finds this disgusting, then next it'll be Neo-nazis, then it'll be Kiwifarms, then it'll be the Anarchists Cookbook, then it'll be the Bible and finally it'll come down to Sonichu comics. I do not believe that any writing should be illegal (unless its an actual written/legitimate threat towards someone or some other "actually illegal" thing)

In the 50s they actually tried to ban comic books, so publishers were forced to adopt the Comics Code Authority, which led to actual thought-provoking stories getting canned. This lasted until the 80s when stores would carry titles that weren't approved by the CCA, then it just withered away when the world didn't end. They tried the same thing with music, but the industry fought back and that's why we have warning labels. Ditto with video games, with the added bonus of making old people look ridiculous.

Are these cunts serious? This mindset is appropriate for things like differing opinions on music genres or political candidates. You can’t just say “well, I respect your right to have your opinion” when it comes to things like child abuse and rape. This post explicitly said that those other guides were about treating children like objects and stalking and manipulating them. So the pedos who endorse that shit are entitled to that opinion even though it’s evil and wrong? Get bent.

They'll excommunicate if you're laity, if you're a priest, you just get shuffled around until you're someone else's problem. It's even worse in the Protestant churches because lots of places don't report to a central authority like Catholic churches do. Someone who's accused of molestation can just skip over to another church even in the same city if it's big enough, and start over. When I was a kid, and was still required to go to church by my parents, I was in the youth group. Even then, and this was in the early 90s, adults weren't allowed to be alone with kids for any reason. I never heard of misconduct, so maybe it was just a preventative measure, but that tells you this isn't a recent phenomenon.

It’s nowhere near as bad in the Prostestant churches. When caught, the Protestant clerics get the book thrown at them. Even when they are merely accused, the clerics don’t just go to the church next door, and they are usually defrocked (or, whatever the particular denomination’s term is). Most congregations talk to each other. The central authority is the problem. The Vatican was centralized and powerful enough to pressure/coerce the accusers, cover up the crimes and pay off the victims. Plus, according to Catholics, priests are a step above man, which means it’s a sin for the layman to accuse a priest of a sin. The Mea Maxima Culpa documentary provides a good summary of the psychological mindset of priests. As for your youth group, that’s for insurance purposes. Many insurance companies won’t provide coverage if certain protocols are not followed when caring for/teaching/etc. minors.
