Yeah, I’m pretty unsure of how to feel about it as well, but keep Kathleen Kennedy as far away from it as possible, and it could be an alright movie.
But if it flops, Kennedy gets the boot and Bob gets more tears for us to drink.

Makes me wonder how Bob feels about Pokemon. I know that he's likely indifferent to it, but it is the digital equivalent to dog fighting so he should feel "empathy" towards them (and by that I mean self-righteous indignation to fellate his ego.)

This actually got me thinking: what are Bob's opinions on everything Nintendo owns outside of Mario? I don't recall him ever going on about any of Nintendo's other properties. Just Mario. Does he actually enjoy franchises like Zelda, Metroid , Pokemon or even Star Fox? Or are those too complex and too "grey" for him?

In this case he might have a similar opinion given he didn't 'grow up with' Pokemon like he did some of Nintendo's other properties. He might try defending it though just because he's a tribalistic manchild though and a knock at Pokeymanz is a knock at his corporate God since I seem to remember he also shilled for that trash tier Zelda show too.
All I know is he probably never played it since he seems to really only buy and play 1st party Nintendo shit and then watches clips for his opinions on all the other games.

Bob's sensitivity and sympathies always depend on the politics ahead of morality.
On a side note, I love how he rags on that Terminator movie. because it showed how his superior future, filled with automation driven by coastal people, is basically an apocalypse.

Monster Hunter is usually pretty light on plot, but even with that you can pick up that Elder Dragons cause natural disasters and calamity to occur in their wake, and they make it a point to say that they don't want to wipe monsters out, they're more worried about populations growing too large and antagonizing humans.
But Bob hasn't played the series and thank God he won't get into them, because that's one less shitter online who carts to everything.

It boggles the mind just how much is wrong incorrect and complete made up bullshit in Bob's ramblings there. Arad left ages before Disney enetered the picture. He left by selling out his preferred stock. Nobody let him have ANY part of Spider-Man to make him go away, beyond his existing producer rights with Sony. This is well known and documented. As you can imagine pretty much everything else Bob spouts is false. While Bob is a rabid MCU fanboy he is not actually in any way informed, nor an expert regarding Marvel, it's history, it's business dealings or it's actual product.
