I agree with that Ibrahim guy: the game is not ready yet for any rival. For a rival to count as "mostly done", which is what people expect of Osana to be, is to have most of elimination methods working smoothly and the rest at least partially, which requires solid groundwork with the code and more content.

Even the optimistic route is stupid, because no sane person tries to TEXT cops unless they are deaf/speech impaired and they have the text-to-911 feature - which is only available in certain locations.

Late to the punch but teleprinters/relay phones exist for deaf callers. It's a huge keyboard-and-screen thing attached to the phone, since phone-built keyboards are slower than molasses. It has a series of pre-programmed messages. The machine has to translate the speaker's words to text for the deaf caller/texter.
There's also certain video phones available to deaf people for a 3-way conference call (deaf person to interpreter to dispatch).
They could send a SMS message to emergency with a touch of a button if they registered for the emergency service. Mute people are strongly recommend to register since they can't scream for help.

Then again, the girls aren't with a disability so I see no point on them texting the police when they can call.

Thank you, it has been three years. He wasn't exactly the healthiest person physically or mentally, nor did he have the best environment to grow up in. I think he's in a better place now.
