:offtopic: as fuck but I'm watching part of the Mario Sunshine TIHYDP and I had a random thought about why Phil seems to be excessively shit at everything. I mean, there are plenty of dumb people around, especially dumb kids, but they have way, way, less trouble with SMS than Phil does. I think Phil struggles with using analog sticks. I mean, being a dumbshit who can barely perceive the world around him doesn't help, but watching him play a game like Sunshine, which requires a lot of nuance and sensitivity in how you move around makes it clear he has a real problem with the analog stick. He's always jamming it around like an ape.

I think it might go back to his youth spent playing fighting games obsessively where soft precision presses don't matter, it's more about timing and button combos using a d-pad or a fightstick. He's never fully graduated from digital inputs and soft, precise analog control and trigger pulls that 99% of modern games require are just beyond him. That's why he can't aim worth shit in shooters, why he drives into rocks in racers, and why he can't play modern Mario games at all. He can't break the habit of treating analog sticks like D-pads.

Anyway, back to speculating about his jailbait girlfriend.

Edit: while I was sperging out about d-pads Phil revealed the new teeth, and the woman they're attached to:suffering:
