Is this where TV Tropers put all the genuine criticisms of particular series? I remember them cracking down on more vocal criticisms, whitewashing pages of pretty much every controversial content creator who is still alive to this day, removing valid critics from main and YMMV pages.

I doubt the Chinese are as hyped up about as western idiots who suffer from a terminal case of white guilt. Similarly, I don't think it will do well in other markets like the Middle East or Russia for the same reason.fftopic:

The comic book version of Black Panther is essentially Putin/Trump with alien tech and superpowers, so maybe it’s a Trojan horse? Yeah, I know :autism::autism:

tbh, black panther is probably like most of the marvel cinematic universe. Decent enough on it's own but not anything worth getting upset over. The hype for it is likely to burn people out of it much faster than it would normally for a marvel super hero movie though
