I will never understand why people treat this as a Badge of Honor. Honestly, why do people do this exactly? Example is tweets like this

We haven't been able to track DSP's subs number before the !subcount command was added - I did note times I heard him state a subscriber count during prestreams/outros etc. BUT I will note there's usually a flood of Twitch shared sub notifications in the day or 2 after he returns from time off. July: 15 subs vs. 182 for the entire month, ~5.9 average. October: only 7 subs (+3 shared during time off) so 10 vs. 227 for the entire month, ~7.3 average. December: 16 subs (+2 shared during time off) so 18 vs. 321 for the entire month, ~10.4 average.Isn't the dip kinda normal when he is away for a few days?
I think the Patreon days are pretty much over because Twitch subs are a lot easier to get and keep.
564 peak according to DSP, 563 peak by Nightbot's response to the !subcount command. As of today it's down to 479, so ~85 subs. He's dipped like 100 subs from his peak, right?
Yes, based on my tracked subs & DSP's ramblings on prestreams over 2017 he fluctuated between 220 & 270, averaging ~250 subs until there was a December push - perhaps just backtaxes pity party. Making subs the new goal was only implemented in January, hence the large gain to over 550 peak.He was at about 250 before the Thanksgiving "problem" reveal, so that should be his absolute rock bottom if things don't turn around.
Even worse, 500x$2.50 is ~$1250... but that doesn't include all those $9.99 & $24.99 subs. Last month the shared sub notifications meant we could see 8x$6 & 6x$17.50 for a total of ~$153, or ~$1368 if they replace 14 $2.50 subs.Something All-meaty Tevin said in a video came back to me... Remember when Phil tied his special events to the number of Twitch subs? He set the goal to 500 subs, and emphasized the amount of $1250 -- equal to the amount he was making on Patreon. Well, 550 subs, 600 subs, and 650+ etc. subs are most certainly not goal levels equal to $1250. In order to be consistent, shouldn't he always do his special event any month he has 500 subs, and any milestone over that is extra? Right? Otherwise, it's like you're finessing money out of people. But DSP would never!
I think this is going to be a pretext for purchasing a new TV.Everything phil touch lags.

I'm gonna do you a solid @Fayt and remove some stuff from that and the previous post I made.
I don't have any obligation to be this nice, but there are things I don't really need to press further than what I've already said because of what is already shown. It's also not usually something I do but there are certain circumstances where I try not to be a dick because of things.
And yeah I can't exactly stop someone else posting the same shit.
Nigga find a fucking hobby.
Thought this was interesting - meanwhile on TKOH, new topic asking Phil NOT to include Kat in the future videos because they're not entertaining enough. No bites yet.

I think this is going to be a pretext for purchasing a new TV.
It'll go something like this:
Pre Stream 1
"I want to go back to dragon ball z and there is new street fighter coming out ahnd peepul want me to play fighting games again and I want to play them but the input lag on my TV is a real problem... I just don't see how im gunna play dese games when i have such bad lag... right"
Pre Stream 2
"haha ladies and gentlement there is NO WAY im playing a fighting game again if I don't get a new TV that's just the the reality of the situation"
Then the paypigs will be roped into supporting Phil on getting this new TV so he can continue to "work".
Pre Stream 4-5
"I see you guys in the chat saying I should play dragon ball but I told you I need a new TV otherwise the lag is just too bad"
Anyway you guys get the idea.
Phil likes to think he's "beating" the "detractors" whenever something good happens to him. It's kinda pathetic. Someone touched on it earlier, how his meaningless, empty life is so devoid of anything remotely fascinating that he has to talk about the sheer adrenaline rush he gained from doing laundry. These sort of normal, everyday tasks for most people are not so for him - hence why he discusses it.
We are supposed to be jealous of the extremely boring life of Phil Burnell. He can have his life, to me it seems like an utter waste. I'm not being all high and mighty, don't get me wrong, my life is going well and is fairly simple. Life is good, sustainable and promising at this point (I won't elaborate because unlike Phil I don't feel the need to). There is nothing whatsoever to be jealous of regarding the tahxic Phil Burnell.
BTW Kat reminds me of the overly obsessed girlfriend. Take that however you wish.

Two days and 20 pages on this thread.
Man, people just go apeshit every time sexual relations are thrown into the soap opera known as DarksydePhil. I bet the demon child prologue chapter was a real doozy around the water cooler, too.
Incidentally, she's right around the age when women start to notice the ticking of the "clock" - I wonder if Phil's gonna be pressed into service for fatherhood soon?
