The Coral Springs Police Department is asking students and teachers to remain barricaded inside until police reach you.

According to WSVN, at least three people were seen surrounded by first responders and one person was seen being wheeled into an ambulance. There are reports of up to 20 injuries.

Remember when investigators said Dylann Roof was autistic, and Dylann responded autism was for nerds and losers?

Here's a video where a dumb blonde says she knew Nikolas, and saw him immediately after hearing shots fired on the other side of the school. She also has dyed blonde hair that looks terrible, so her IQ is questionable.

Her high IQ is further displayed when she sees Nikolas, and says to him, during a mass shooting, "hey I thought you'd be shooting up the school haha."
This isn't as bad as the wave of conspiracy theorist who will come out to defend this auti-ahole. I literally saw a video where one guy claimed that the government gave him autism and used mind control techniques to provoke this event.

We don't know his ethnic origins. Cruz is the surname of the couple who adopted him and his brother.
It doesn't matter, this loon is a ginger with green eyes and freckles. Spanish surenames are technically white.

Yeah after every single mass shooting there are a handful of cooks that poison the well with nonsense conspiracy theories. Every single time this happens you'll see a post on 4chan saying this is a government psyop to get a gun ban or something. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same person making these posts.

Wish he had been killed, since we’re now going to feeding and housing him for the next 90 years now. Not to mention dealing with the near constant appeals process.
I know this will sound dumb, but if doctors can find out more about what made him snap, maybe it can help prevent future shootings.

I'm no doctor or expert on anything, guess I'm just looking for an answer for why.

So does anyone had any ideas what is the real story behind the shooter? Let alone, a reliable news source? Anyway, here's some sanity from this thread (wait a bit for it to fully load).

If you mean why did he decide to shoot up a school yesterday, no. Right now, any information about his motives is just speculation. He may or may not disclose "why" - we'll just have to wait and see. The fact that he didn't kill himself or wait around for the cops to shoot him suggests that there's a story he wants to tell, but who knows whether that will change when he's had time to digest legal advice. It's not like there's any explanation which would satisfy the public anyway.

I know this will sound dumb, but if doctors can find out more about what made him snap, maybe it can help prevent future shootings.

People thought the same post-Columbine, but there's not really any evidence that behavioural analysis of mass murderers prevents future mass murders - whether they're spree killers or serial killers.

The UK has the highest crime rate in the Europe and Switzerland has the highest gun ownership in Europe yet the lowest gun related crime rate. And Europe has a truck of peace every other week.

Again, the US already has restrictions purchasing what guns, who can purchase guns (felons can’t, people under 18 can’t), what attachments you can buy and use, and where you can take them. The US isn’t some free gun give away (like Chechnya was), buying a gun is a pain in the ass.
I mean.....I'm sure thats true in most of the US but I could literally take a highway into Alabama tomorrow morning, buy a gun and ammo at the flea market, and drive it right back home to my state....if i didn't haggle on the price i could be back home in an hour....so i do agree that SOME parts of the US need to at least attempt to get their shit straight. I have a friend that didn't even realize you're supposed to register guns. His dad always bought them at the flea market or from his friends.

Edit: i also agree that tracking all guns is impossible without ridiculously invasive measures. Honestly i just still can't get over how flimsy laws are around here and i didn't want to be alone with it.

Medication did not make him do it, he was just unfit for most types of socialization.
I don't believe there's a why, I just think like OPL, he was trapped in some sort of highschool fantasy where he was King, but he was confronted with reality.
The real problem is that speds and normies don't mix. There's always going to be some sort of resentment and jealousy on both sides for different reasons.

Mainstreaming has a lot to answer for. So do the "autism speaks" brigade who insist that abnormal behaviour caused by "neurodiversity" should be accepted rather than treated.

I don't get the "why'd he do it" thing. People who feel rejected by their peers fantasize about taking "revenge". A small number of them act on it. Being crazy probably raises the likelihood. What exactly was going through his head doesn't matter much, and knowing is not likely to prevent future events.

The people around him recognized his bad brains, and tried to keep him away. Sometimes that may work. It didn't this time.

In a society of laws, where being sketchy is not a crime, there's not a whole lot that can be done proactively. Things like this will happen from time to time, and should probably just be viewed as "acceptable loss" in return for not living in a totalitarian state.

All you can do is be aware of your surroundings, have a plan, and hope bad things don't happen to people you know. Pretending to grieve over people you don't know seems like attention seeking to me.

I've been accused of having bad opinions before.

I don't know why I still read these threads from time to time, but are we really blaming this on him being autistic? Is that what I'm reading?

I'm not even tryna argue with y'all. I just want to know what in reading.

Honestly, how hard would it be for someone, to get a hold of an illegal firearm, even if they were made to be illegal?
Theres no way the government can track down, every single gun in the country and confiscate it.
There are too fucking many around, for that to happen.

It's not that hard here in europe, to buy an illegal firearm and we have gun control up the ass, so I imagine a deranged american autist, is not gonna have that many problems too, to get a hold of one.

Once he was on the loose, Cruz eluded officers long enough to stop by a Walmart and a McDonald's before he was captured and confessed everything, according to law enforcement officials and court documents.

It's creepy and all that he was apparently just chilling out in public for a while with onlookers none the wiser, but he did get to have tendies one last time.
From Google Maps directions, there's a Walmart directly west of a middle school adjacent to Stoneman, McDonald's south after passing a freeway junction, and the SW corner of the housing tract where he lived and was apprehended further south. Assuming he was running with others to blend in with the crowd, I'm sure he still took his time to order a drink from the Walmart Subway (who does that?) and later McDonald's.

Fucker should have shot himself in the head at McDonald's when they didn't give him Szechuan sauce.

Maybe he was trying to get a job at the Wal-Mart.

He would have made a great Wal-Mart worker. *sigh*

This thread is getting pretty freaky... that or these shooters are getting too predicable.

Shit. Imagine adopting a kid, full of hope for their future and how you'll make it better and give them a good life, and then this results. I wonder what the circumstances of his birth were, and if he had a parent who was aggressive and unstable and that was why he was put into the system.

According to his aunt, he was diagnosed with autism. According to the school, he exhibited ongoing "disciplinary problems". According to everyone in a position to know, he was a social outcast. The Broward County Public School Superintendent who was interviewed on CNN said that he "wouldn't actually say he was expelled" from the school he shot up, but that he left there to "go to a school which could better address his needs".

Feeling like a social outcast seems to always play a large part in mass shootings perpetrated by young adults and social functioning is often severely impaired in young males with autism. We know from his own posts that he felt he "had no-one". Social functioning skills can be taught. There is no benefit to society in leaving people to flounder and become more and more isolated and resentful and there's a real cost to society in just "accepting them as they are" and leaving them be.

Maybe this kid was just born evil - and I truly believe some people are - and nothing along the way could have prevented this, but it's not the way the evidence is stacking up at the moment.

Both he and his biological brother were adopted by the same couple. He was adopted at birth. Newborns are in huge demand, so it's unusual for them to be placed with an ageing couple (the mother was 68 when she died last year, so would have been around 50 when he was adopted). According to a former neighbour, his adoptive mother wanted someone else to take the children once her husband died. Being raised for many years by a woman who no longer wanted the kids around would be unsettling for any children.
