This was alluded to a couple of times, but i don't think Phil's an abusive boyfriend in the traditional sense of the word (control reasons, jealousy issues, that sort of thing) I think he just legitimately does not see other people as humans, and so has no real reason to care about how his actions affects them. Even the things he's doing "for" the new girl are still ultimately for him, she just happens to be benefiting from it.
Agreed. I can't really see him as being some sort of seasoned person when it comes to this stuff. He's just in a desperate situation and its not like he ever wakes up and doesn't have to think about his huge amount of debt.
I also hope for her own sake that she doesn't start streaming 7 days a week or some dumb shit. If anything, I hope she does like a co-op stream with Phil once a week or something which would at least mix it up because his shit is fucking boring.
I got into the prestream drama for a while and they were entertaining to listen to and document but I got bored after a few weeks of it. I honestly have no idea how people like drgnkiller have kept it up for so long.
I haven't watched a prestream or even any detractor videos for at least 2-3 weeks because his life is fairly predictably unpredictable.
It's like watching a news report where a bunch of people who live in a region known for earthquakes/floods/tornadoes/autism outbreaks/drought all lose their life possessions and its like...
- 2014: "ahh shit nigga that kinda sucks, I feel at least a little bit bad for you, but you probably shouldn't live there anymore"

Inevitably they usually survive, stay strong through it all and live to see another (insert natural disaster).
Wingsuit jumpers, while not really DSP-tier, still have the similarity of going out everyday and doing something that they know could end in spectacular failure. Even if they crash and break 90% of their bones, they're still gonna go out there and do the same thing again.
he seems to like preying on vulnerable girls. Imagine phil dating a girl with a healthy family where he has to visit them at thanksgiving? brothers and sisters all talking to phil. He couldn't handle it.
I guess from the word preying it makes it sound like it was a practiced tactic. Rather seems his ladies are easy. Otherwise he'd have a back catalog of Leannas.
If he were practiced in it, then I'd say he would've gotten rid of Leanna much sooner when she turned sour.
But it was probably both his and her first serious relationship and those are always entertaining.
