That right there sums up everything Phil is and likely ever will be. And it is funny as hell. I don't think I have ever seen somebody who let their ego r3tard his ability to learn on this level. It's utterly astounding.

It definitely seems like there is booze involved tonight. I wonder what this (and the leftovers) says about the Soulmaid situation. Either they are partying it up each and every night... or Phil continues to sit and drink alone just like the good old days of the Panda twilight. Either he's still miserable, or may actually be dabbling in alcoholism.
As of the start of the stream, Phil was down to 485 subs from, allegedly, over 500 yesterday. Whoever predicted that he was about to have a bunch expire, that was apparently spot on.
Phil did that thing right off that bat where, following a big rant, he immediately contradicts himself. I don't know if it is a subconscious thing or what. He started by complaining about the delay in PUBG, which would undermine his statement that no other game he plays has delay issues, just sometimes lag. This is doubly curious because he used to blame lag and the framerate, but is repeatedly saying 'delay' specifically tonight. Then he went on to bluntly state that he doesn't really enjoy this game, and he doesn't think it is a remotely good game, but he plays it because it allows for the interaction. This hot on the heels of blasting other streamers for continuing to play bad games for money. Sometimes I wonder if he is so contrarian that he feels compelled to push the envelop and defy himself, because he does this religiously.
An insightful and eloquent chat comment:
"When we're together, we talk about what we're going to eat, what we want to do together, the last thing we talk about is what we're going to do on work and stream and shit." Odd grammar aside, those that were saying that Phil is obsessed with food and his meals... that's the first thing he talks to the Soulmaid about. I think it may be the only reason DSP Tries it limps on as the only thing Phil really does for 'fan service'.
Finally, can I just say, this thing of drinking and swishing into the mic... it's getting worse, right? Is it just me? He always did it, but he seems like he is doing it more, at irregular times, and swishing louder and longer.

He has been a bitch since that blackout happened. Maybe he had to actually hold a conversation with that girl and came away thinking it was a huge mistake to move someone in after spending only ~2 weeks total with them.
Or it could be money. I thought his whole "I'm on cloud 9" and "I'm above you" was because the bits came in from the December beg-a-thon and he felt like he was back in the high life again. Now he blew through that cash and is telling everyone he will be begging for money in April, which is kinda like telling them what they give in February/March won't matter. Everyone knew his fans couldn't afford to give him 10k every month forever...well everyone except Phil.

Its probably because he actually thinks its a "business" and that he'll be able to sustain growth. All of his growth comes from "emergencies" which isn't sustainable but he somehow still doesn't realize this.

The funny thing is that he should be gloating that Marvel VS Capcom Infinite died a quick death. He hated that game too and made a few decent points that everyone had come to the same conclusion (I.E. the game boils down to doing a super or multi-hitting special, tag out, go for a 50/50 setup). Chalk that up to a broken clock being right twice a day of course.
DBZ is hype right now because it's a genuinely good game with very few issues especially when compared to Capcom fighters. The only thing people don't like atm is that the Super Dash is really hard to punish and the hitbox on the Dash is massive and can even cross you up.
He's also wrong about Street Fighter V. Attendance was down by about 1000 at last year's Evo and not many people have come back to the game when Capcom re-branded it as "Arcade Edition" even though there is no arcade version of the game...

The sad thing is when Phil recently played, bitching about how "everyone has a braindead strategy just to try to win online" he's not even exactly wrong per-se. It just falls to the fact that he's garbage, plays like garbage, and makes no effort to actually practice. He then makes himself look like a retard and it's a mystery why the guy can't just accept "I don't take fighting games that seriously anymore, I'm losing because I don't commit the extra time to practice or come up with counter-strategies"

Kat is there for every wrong reason imaginable. This is nothing that hasn't been said a 1,000x over already in this thread, but my guess is that they're both using each other for some immediate gain. Kat for a place to crash, and Phil for just about everything else you can think of. From what I've seen of her commentary on her YouTube videos, she doesn't seem to be very outgoing and Phil's even said she's shy af. I'm sure holding a conversation with her in person is a whole different ball game then conversing with her over messaging.
Add on to this that living with someone is even MORE different then that, you have a recipe for a potentially "Katastrophic" melt down due to jumping the gun with the move-in.
It'll be very interesting to see what they are by year's end. I'll bet anyone here, Phil proposes before 2019.

Ehh... I think he's been boring ever since I grew bored of his streams. If he at least played on different platforms like PC I might be inspired to join and fuck around in MP but he'll never do it.
The only interesting thing about DSP is how he manages to attract surely the most bizarre fucking sideshow running in recorded history. Every fucking day there is some other wacky ass bizarro shit happening.
DSP without the sideshow? Boring and tired as fuck. He never plays any games that I really care about either (and very rarely when he does I make sure to not watch because I don't want the game to be ruined).

Super Dash is extremely easy to punish, don't take what Phillip says about muh delay to heart because he's completely wrong. For most characters, it's not safe on block, unless the attacker is in Sparking Blast, and even then your reflexes don't have to be incredible to throw out a reactive launcher, because launcher gives you invincibility to all non-projectile air attacks for a clean counter.
