He should've been aware of how eager they are to turn on each other, and how that lack of loyalty could affect him.

Still, NeoGAF has become a better and more balanced forum, so I guess some good came out of "Showergate".

To be fair they would've probably formed ResetEra anyway the moment they couldn't completely control the narrative. Telling them to piss off only accelerated the process. And can you blame 'em? Who the fuck wants GAFugees?

Unlike LowT, when the shit hit the fan, he just let all the crazies leave and took back his site. He's never been personally an SJW, just one of their cucks. Maybe I'm being :optimistic, but is NeoGAF getting better?

This is one thing I find shady about ResetEnema, they set up very, very quickly, almost like it was pre-planned. The fact that someone registered here and tried to use us as a PA against GAF supports that there were more machinations at play here than it initially seems.

The account suicides are still ongoing too, which I find surprising considering that ResetEnema is already up and running, any person who would switch forums would simply up and leave their account with no need for such theatrics.

TL;DR: There's clearly more tension bubbling under the surface here, with some shady as fuck actions on ResetEnema's part.

I think Insomniac is way better. Sure Naughty Dog's games look awesome, but they have 0 depth and their gameplay offers basically nothing to anyone who plays other games. The PS3 Ratchet games were awesome, Resistance was a nice if a bit boring FPS and Sunset Overdrive wasn't perfect, but the mix of keeping up momentum grinding and bouncing on shit with choosing the right weapon for the situation gives it way more depth than any Uncharted game.

It's very easy to set up Xenforo (the bulletin board software running on their site). And the structure itself of the boards is just a straight copy from old NeoFAG with a few new bells & whistles and a shiny homo erotic coat of purple paint. Nothing to write home about.

The fact they signed up for an LLC right away and had immediate intentions of monetizing it was the interesting bit for me. ResetEra is a clearly for-profit site with a bunch of cult of personalities at the top. Shinobi is an administrator, and I believe is tied up in the corporate entity, meanwhile he's PR for some indie game studio.

People have long joked and rumored about NeoGAF being some Sony shill site, with known ties to active PR people. Now ResetEra is literally operated and partially owned by a PR shill/cult of personality hiding behind an overtly for-profit LLC. It's hard to call this a community endeavor, rather a poaching of membership from NeoGAF for business purposes.
