So there was a guy in Phil's chat, "One Male" who claimed to have met Phil 12 years ago at evo. He said a few things about how cool it was to see Phil streaming. He asked a few harmless questions.

Chat proceeded to ignore both him and Phil's gameplay. Instead they were spamming "rawwwwr" and cheering to get Phil to rawr on stream.

Phil doesn't know what "rawr on stream" means.

So OneMale is like, why isn't anyone in the stream answering me or even talking about the game?

Stream continues to say stupid shit about Putin and Disney and pizza.

OneMale says this is a very uncomfortable stream for someone who is new. He feels like "a stranger in the middle of a group of heart friends." Eventually he gives up.

I can't say if this guy was a troll or honestly someone who stumbled upon DSP's stream and recognized him from evo. If he was a troll he didn't say anything that would get a rise out of anyone. If he was a real potential new fan, this was a prime example of how Phil's fanboys don't let anyone new into the club because detractors, and how Phil won't respond to you in any way unless you throw money at him.

Sad either way.

i struck up a conversation with him because it seemed like the mods starting panic spamming as soon as he appeared. he didnt appear to be a troll, but i could just be autistic.
he said he looked up to phil back in the day because he was in the same community, and phil would place decently in tournaments. he was generally shocked and appalled at phil now. my favourite quote was

"oh holy shit so in the 12 years since i met him face to face i've become a doctor and he's become himself but fatter"

i tried to politely suggest that his stories might be appreciated here and he said he would talk to his old FGC friends and perhaps swing by at a later date with info.

i dunno, if he was legit, it could be entertaining

edit: he was banned when the stream ended so RIP if he was a real fan

An anonymous user sent me the following screenshots. The source has significant credibility and because the source is more valuable than non-sources there will be no discussion/speculation allowed towards the identity of this person because it is not an important part of the discussion.

It's amusing he threatened legal action to YouTube and got a canned 'we'll look into it's response and took it as a sign he was being taken seriously. I bet he even thinks that means he's got a contact at YouTube.

Confirmation that he has a network of fans on lookout for mean things about him is interesting.

1. DSP indeed watch detractors videos so he lied bout this, not surprised tho dude is a blatant liar

2. DSP stll cares so much about YouTube yet he bashes YouTube daily, his twitch channel obviously cannot sustain him

3. Snorts channel is still alive and running

4. DSP is scared of the detractors exposing his lies

My own opinion is that there was more to the escort story than is currently known. Whether he was blackmailed or something else, he still claimed to have been sent threatening messages which he has not shared.

Its also very suspicious that he has never really mentioned it much given it is not only a bizarre DSP event but a bizarre event by anyone's standards. Catfishing empires that have been running for a decade aren't exactly common.

Seems pointless to go this route, even if he successfully takes down some channels they'll pop right back up and they'll always be the next batch of up and coming channels seeking detractor fame. Then again, it might make for some extreme salt from both sides so this chapter possibly has some entertainment value. The whole thing this week has become snitch week.

Possibly. But his whole set of reactions during the escort saga were really bizarre to begin with which is why at least some people believed it.

The double edged sword. If the detractors take out Phil they wont have his antics to laugh at. If Phil takes out the detractors he has no audience.

It's strange symbiotic relationship.

If I recall the top 10 video didn't actually claim the escort story was true. It just presented the information available at the time and asked the viewer to decide if Phil is telling the truth or not.

Very interesting plot twist. To a certain extent I actually agree with him, if there are videos that are 100% spreading malicious lies I can see why he'd want videos taken down or channels terminated. Even though it wouldn't do much anyway, they'd just make a new channel and repeat the cycle so it's kinda pointless.

The problem is he says everything in detractor videos are lies. So what are the chances that every report he's done has been legitimate? I can see him abusing the report function as a way of removing videos he simply doesn't like regardless of the legitimacy of the claims made. It's no surprise this happens though, I've been 99% sure he watches some detractor videos for a few years.

Ok I watched the part of the top 10 video again. It's at the end of the Leanna breakup story. It says update. Voiceover of Phil saying he has a new girlfriend with the Xmas tree back of head pics. Then it shows some of Kimberlie Brinks' tweets with a voiceover of Phil saying that his girlfriend is not an escort. Then the video says, "guilty or not guilty".

Never actually slanders or libels Phil.

The problem is that proving the veracity of Twitter DMs is something that doesn't really have an easy solution. Providing screenshots or videos does not establish verification 100%. Unfortunately, that is the just the reality of things.

What I can say is that it comes from a source with significant credibility that was established some time ago.

Unfortunately because the escort saga turned out to be a decade-long catfishing empire it means the standard expected when it comes to things like this is much, much higher. There's nothing I can do about that.

All I can say is that DSP is not the target of CIA operatives and the likelihood of someone attempting to introduce doctored evidence should be treated as such. It's really not very likely.

I've given as much information as I can and beyond that there is little I or anyone can do to absolutely 100% prove a Twitter DM conversation took place. So all you can do is take the information provided and make your own decision about it.

Of course DSP watches detractor videos. The reason DSP chat regular Kozatov was temporarily banned is because he said, "Where's Kat?"

DSP is aware that the whole Missing Kat thing is a Tevin meme, which is why his mods go on a deleting and banning spree whenever his True & Authentic supporters ask when Kat will show up next. On TKOH, DSP attempted to dismiss the patrons who wanted to see Kat in DSP's content as "a small but vocal minority".

DSP also refused to read a recent cheer from KingHypocrisy mentioning Tevin, saying, "I'm not giving shoutouts to detractors, ack ack ack!"

At the very least, DSP watches and is aware of popular detractor channels like Almighty Tevin and Snort Burnell. That's because both channels appear in the recommended viewing list when you watch DSPGaming, pro-DSP, or neutral DSP content made by fans or other people who are simply curious about Internet oddities.

We know that Phil is beyond lazy, so it's likely that he's not searching this stuff out because it's literally staring him in the face whenever he checks his videos on Youtube. He wants to shut it down, but he won't put in the effort to develop the points of a compelling argument. It makes sense that he would ask someone else to do the research and compile sources.

For these reasons, I think the screencaps given to Neger by this anonymous source are credible.
