Oh of course. Doesn’t mean [Hassan] can’t tell the truth from time to time though.
Naaah~ this is only partial true. Here is the thing: Twitch's business is only Twitch's business. Nobody has the right to be informed about internal communications. These are privat informations and if they're published it creates a bunch of problems:
(1) Breaking rules by giving out informations - Could lose his position at Twitch
(2) Make himself the target of lunatics each time Phil does something, even if the internal handling doesn't work this way (which it surely doesn't. There exists a report-button)
(3) Negative exposure for Twitch
(4) Too much informations about how something works can be dangerous for a solid system. People often seek for gaps in rules so this creates mechanical behaviours in streamers (which is not very funny on a website where people should have fun), behaviours of streamers which are hard on the edge of allowance and it drives people to report streamers who behave absolutely fine BUT the "reporters" think they found a rule breaker. Some people think they have enough informations and act like pseudo-mods, because these people exist. That's why Twitch has the first and also the last saying.
There is however one thing he really fucked up, imo:
He couldn't shut his mouth, too much emotions involved. This was not very professional.
He should have just said:
"Dear customers, thanks for sending your worries about DarkSydePhil. However, we can't give you further informations and would recommend to use the report-button on our website if you have legitimate concerns about said Twitch-streamer."
DONE and no further communication. Don't feed the trolls, is the old saying. The truth doesn't mean you have to give people all informations they want. Silence is absolutely legitimate.
Edit: It doesn't matter if he is in fact the real contact. People don't know that until he says so or factual prove is given. Subjective speculations and twist his saying does nothing but fuel the autistic fire. In the end every word can be twisted if someone really wants to, and this is not helpful.
