That apology smells like Kat.
Just as with how he took the Twitch suspension.
Something tells me that Kat, being a mature woman, is able to reel-in Ginsyde Phil, something that young, immature Leanna was not able to. And by the time she grew up, she probably didn´t care. So what if his boyfriend was a buffoon, she was gonna dump him soon.

All Phil will do is bitch and moan about how celebrities aren't real gamers and maybe actually use the word "posers." Even though they have just as much right to call themselves that as he does. I know The Game plays Madden. He was ranked #1 in the world one year and #6 another year, he still plays. There is a streamer on twitch (can't remember his name for the life of me) that is an NFL player and he streams pretty often. Deadmau5, Kyle Long, T Pain, Quentin "Rampage" Jackson, are a few that stream a decent amount. Drake has a huge fanbase and of course it's going to be big if he streams on twitch. Phil is just mad that people are hype to watch someone play a game with fans when he does it for a living and nobody gives a shit.

Edit: Holy shit, Rampage Jackson Streams like two or three times a week.

Demetrious Johnson (current ufc champ) streams frequently too. Stuff like WoW and Dark Souls.

Phil can't handle that celebrities are more successful at Twitch when it's their side gig hobby and Phil is 'busting his ass' trying to stay above water full time.

It just seems like he doesn't really comprehend the concept of appeal. Universal appeal is basically impossible to achieve unless you're deity-tier but DSP can't even master appealing to what should be his core audience, because he's never had to sit down and figure out who this core audience is. His "success" on YouTube never worked via appeal but rather through keywords which have both worked to make and break him.

That's the problem with becoming "famous" because there's no one else around. Unless you make a niche for yourself besides being "salty" then you don't really have a workable goal, you're just throwing darts with a blindfold on, no amount of playing AAA games get you appeal because everyone plays AAA games, their appeal is already there, you're just using their appeal and not figuring out what your own is.

He's never taken the time to figure out his appeal and it really shows in the games that he picks and how he schedules things, there's no effort to widen his appeal outside of the "I like watching people pick up fighting games, bitch, delete them and then play GTA:SA on and off for 4 weeks" audience.

Even the stuff people actually ask him to make like Poorly cooking he won't do because again, he just doesn't comprehend what appealing to an audience actually is. I know he always goes on about being "true & authentic" and "real talk" which implies he probably has some belief that working with appeal wouldn't be "true & authentic" but every single wrassling show and game he plays is built upon this basis.

Before any non-indie game publisher or TV network puts a dollar behind anything they usually sit down and ask the "what's the audience for this product" question, otherwise they wouldn't be in business still. Judging by his game choices, he not only doesn't ask this question but somehow appears to think that he has universal appeal. Which no one has.

And his gamer chair is different too because it came from some avant-garde designer in china and he was the only person to ever get one!

Nah DSP stopped addressing drama as of March 8, 2018 so its never going to happen.

Someone better not show this clip of Jonathan Davis playing games for little kiddies like a childrens entertainer and having fun with it as well.

I think its a good thing Kat can calm down GinSydePhil, hopefully 2018 brings back dspositivity (:optimistic::optimistic::optimistic:)

He will have sobered up by the time his stream starts, so he's not going to talk about it. He's much too scared of Twitch to say anything again, because he knows he has absolutely no where to go if Twitch drops him. How sad is that that a company like Twitch could have someone by the balls like this. If Twitch ever permbans him, his life is over.

I used to think this, as well, but we all know Phil will stream until he get's banned from every platform on the web. This dude will stream on PornHub if he has to.
