Yeah, Xydexx is kind of the ultimate version of the archetypical furry. He utterly, zealously loves furry and he needs EVERYONE to love furry and love him for being a furry. I wish I had specific stories but I do recall hearing that even other furries think he’s way over the top.

And also, how do you even respond to tweets like that? If someone came up to you on the street and said that you’d either cross the street or call the cops about the nutcase who’s on the loose.

Given his utterly zealous devotion to furry and being a furry it’s amusingly consistent to see he’s a cycling enthusiast too; I’ve noted they’re also of the way-too-into-it and zealot persuasion as well.

To be fair, there is a cross over between child predators, animal rapists, creeps, and nazis.

The issue is no one wants to take care of the creeps who aren’t nazis.

Xydexx only wants to get rid of nazis because all the other furry freaks and creeps either are his friends, or indulge his fetishes. As long as their creepyness amuses him or turns him on, he’s fine with them.

:offtopic:Hmmm. The couple furries I know who really get away with shit are popufurs... I don’t really see a bias in the greater furry community as a whole to the right/left. But I’m not invested in the larger furry community. In fact, most of what I do know comes from KF.:offtopic:

The thing is, I’m down with hating on nazis. No one looks at nazis and goes “wow nazis are great” unless they are a nazi. But it’s hard to take Xydexx seriously about “safety in the fandom” when it feels like no one was willing to speak up against the rapey furries. Like you said, as long as the creep is creepy in a way that is considered “tolerable” or “sexy,” the behavior is ignored.

:optimistic:Then again, with the rise of people speaking out in all communities about sexual abuse, maybe the furry fandom will change too.:optimistic:

There are plenty of creeps spanning the range of the political spectrum.

The fact that the creeps that have right think are tolerated or ignored is what pisses me off.

Here's something funny I found from digging altfur IRC logs. Roy Calbeck and Xydexx cybered back in the day, and now Calbeck has a massive hate boner for Xydexx. Xydexx was also apparently the main reason 2 Gryphon was kicked out of Anthrocon despite 2 being pals with Uncle Kage (the founder/guy in charge of the con), as Xydexx is a con board member.

Something tells me the rabbit hole with Karl and drama goes deeper than I first thought.

Yeah but when you implement mass shadowbanning people you don't intend on stopping inevitably get caught in the net. YouTube demonetization is a good example of this.
